Open Starter: Horns…?

Beauty. A painful and…pretty hard thing to achieve. Especially in a world where nothing, no one—is beautiful enough. It was a thing lot of people were obsessive about, and worried over.

Ember was definitely one of those people. Sure, she considered herself very pretty—but that was only if she…hid certain things. If people knew about her little….situation, everyone would think she was weird looking.

She was sitting by the lake, pulling her hair back to look at herself in the water. And when she moved her hair out of the way, you could see them. Horns. Small little things, slightly curved upwards. Not like a satyrs—they were on the sides of her head, not on top. She stares at her reflection for a moment, before she sighed and let her hair go, letting it fall back down.

“Whatcha moping around for?” Argo asked plopping down next to Ember, He had noticed Her horns, and he knew about them for a while know. “You ok? You’re not normally this…down.”
