not trying to sound like a prick but this is either an ex-employee cherrypicking examples and omitting details to make ki sound worse, or it’s absolutely made up. the “steady decline” and the fact that all the cons are people getting “fired” supposedly for suggesting ideas makes it pretty clear it’s someone bitter that certain features haven’t been added. if there was more proof i might buy it but as is it’s basically impossible.

plus, this website doesn’t make you verify that you actually worked somewhere, so. yeah just thought it’d be important to say that.

i dont involve myself in this kind of drama but like. i wanted to add this is glassdoor. a website that allows anyone under anon to post on there claiming as an employee. to prove a point let me go onto glassdoor.

this is the page with the “worked for this company for three years” stuff. you click add review aaand

its legit that easy. as far as i can tell, you don’t even need to confirm anything to post a review, it’s completely self-reported. so i do not trust the validity of this post. not only that, please don’t harass the developers for this kind of stuff.

whether or not this particular post is real (and sure, I’ll admit, it’s probably not) let’s not play the “defend KI” game. They ARE notorious for poorly arranged and apathetic upper management, and there is an absolute slew of other glassdoor posts with similar sentiments (and it’s unlikely that all of those are fake, people DO also use glassdoor for its intended purpose). No one here is trying to blame the developers—it’s about the management that prevents those devs from thriving.

No one actually only blames the management - it is usually the people managing social media accounts who get attacked, and the “spam ki” comment in the original post is extremely irresponsible because of this. Furthermore, while not all the posts will be fake, I’m willing to bet a huge chunk of them are because you literally don’t need verification to post on this website. Additionally, every point made in the original post is designed to make Kingsisle sound as awful as humanly possible. Even in the “pros” section - the comment about expensive food is obviously a take about how people are apparently pissed that Kingsisle at least tries to treat their employees like people, a take often given by people who hate them and want to find every reason to. The additional two pros are both vague and designed to make Kingsisle seem like the devil.

Also, most of the features listed in the cons would either be difficult to implement or just straight up a terrible idea to implement. Most of them have valid reasons for why they wouldn’t be implemented, and furthermore the idea of a company firing employees for simple suggestions is frankly ludicrous. Kingsisle has made quality of life updates before and pretending that they haven’t is simply wrong, even if not everyone was happy with said updates.

It’s absolutely valid to criticize companies, but spreading baseless information is not okay.
