And yes I find it incredibly funny all my fluffy mugmutt attempts had me completely stumped for months only for this angsty one to come and lock me in in a day.

RULES:
1) No AI, tracing, copy, steal art from other artists.
2) You can use any creative ideas, even far from the actual theme, as long as my characters au are present (they have to be the main focus)
3) Not all characters have to be present! But pls feature at least 1 of the 4
4) You can summit many entries, but i’ll accept 1 piece that i like best to be the candidate.
5) You can merge the 2 themes if you like, but i wouldn’t recommend since it cant be categorized as either themes, you can still get 2nd or 3rd place tho since it applies to both themes! (i figured someone might have this idea)
6) You can put headcanons all you like, but pls let them be still recognizable (ex: add cracks, accessories, extra stuff to clothes,…)
7) You can absolutely do crossovers, ship art, interactions!
8) All art mediums and types are accepted! (digital, traditional, illustration, sketch, animations, comics ect.)
9) Pls no NSFW!

REGARDING THE PRIZE:
1) Comics:
- feature only 2 characters halfbody in black&white w/ no bg
- no problematic characters, people or ships
- can be ship art, action, horror, any genres
- No NSFW (can be slightly suggestive tho as long as im comfortable)
- i might modify the characters to my taste, pls clarify if you want them to be accurate!
- please write the brief clearly so i can draw as accurate as possible caz I won’t accept drastic changes.
- you can give me full creative freedom if you can’t come up with any ideas
2) Half/Fullbody sketches and colored sketches
- 2 half/fullbody can be separated or pair in one canvas
- same stuff in the Comics rules.

I don't know anything about Dandy's world so I might sound very stupid here, but I love how manic Shelly is! (At least it's manic to me..)
She has this lowkey manic energy. She's cheerful and upbeat, but there's something just a little off about the way she interacts with Bendy that makes her fascinating to read.
What really sells it for me is that she doesn't feel like she's breaking boundaries for the sake of being quirky. It feels natural to who she is. Her behavior reveals how she sees the world more than it serves as a gimmick, and I think that's why it lands so well. She's genuinely endearing. I can imagine her energy creating misunderstandings, straining relationships, or putting people in situations where they care about her but still have to establish boundaries.
I'm not trying to say Shelly pushing boundaries is cool, I mean I think it's a really interesting piece of characterization that has the potential to create believable conflict and shape her relationships in meaningful ways.

I'm gonna be honest, the discussion we've seen around shelly's character has been, in the lightest terms possible: EXHAUSTING.

I'm afraid i must pull out the "wait and see" card, but without the mischievous smirk and more of a very tired yet PLEADING face.
I normally REALLY hate getting involved with fandom discourse over characters because i genuinely love when people are conflicted and torn between characters actions and morality,
also i really hate telling people what to think.... but this is lowkey all i've really been seeing on the "discourse"
anyways people are totally allowed to dislike shelly, but im REALLY confused on where we draw the line on "pushing boundaries".
like yes Shelly is grabbing and pulling at bendy in an extremely uncomfy way, that was purposeful. Just like how Cuphead kicking boris into a tree and mugman grabbing his throat was also pretty violating.
