Finding shapes and meanings and figures. In clouds, in concrete, wood grain.
Have been keeping that little project of myself secret for months, but I feel like it’s time to ask some people who have a better understanding at this stuff for criticism.
So here is an articulated androgynous body made in Zbrush. I’ve always wanted a mannequin that could pose better than the wood ones, and when I found out about BJD I thought this was the perfect idea, since the parts are hollow and could easily be 3D printed.
Now, idk much about the hobby itself (it seems pretty popular tho?) but I’ve kept looking at models ‘til I found enought reference to understand the articulation concepts. I hope it looks okay?
I still have a long way to go (I’m hoping for articulated hands and feet), and the head need some lil’ tweaking (it’s in another file, if I get some help with the body I’ll post it later), but it feels good to see how far I’ve come! :D
So… Any constructive criticism, bjd owners and 3D modeler out there?
The Leatherdos is a hair clip that doubles as a multi-tool that combines 5 different tools in a tiny hair clip: screw-drivers, a wrench, a trolley coin, a ruler, and a cutting edge.
