please i'm dying to know! why are some cards darkened? i never pulled them but they're there. it's confusing.

I’m assuming you meant those cards that looked darkened when you check the roster?
They are basically cards you have selected as guest actors when doing shows.
How many gems does it take to get a high ranking to get SSR event cards?
Hello!
It depends on how high you are planning to go, and the strength of your teams. It’s relatively easy to get into 5-10% (1 SSR copy) if you play consistently and pace yourself. Some people are even able to get in that range without using any gems, but is also due to having quite strong teams too. I’ve seen people only using about 30-60ish gems to get in that range.
It also depends on which events as some of them are relatively easier to rank on as compared to others.

Hey I was wondering about the event stories, if you miss an event does that mean you wont have the chance to try that event again and you wont be able to unlock event stories?
Hello!
In the future, there will be revival tickets you can earn in the future that lets you unlock past event stories.
There will also be revivals where you can play previous events again (as well as pulling for previous gacha cards) and obtain the cards you didn’t manage to in the past.
