a take on their designs when they were a bit younger 🕰️ (random hcs below)

^i say "a take" not "my take" because i'm already changing my mind on a lot of it lol anyway:

doffy learned to play music with his strings when he was bored

empty eye socket that eyeball is GONE

never felt natural but croc used to fight with swords until he got his devil fruit

ate it in some desperate struggle to get stronger (probably fought whitebeard before he fully mastered his abilities)

as for the two of them i like the idea that they met when they were younger

doffy reading every piece of news with croc's name in it is so funny to me

bc croco got his ass blocked on EVERYTHING 💔
