Hunting For Answers | Allison & Serena
“Thank you,” Serena smiled genuinely, eternally glad that Allison had agreed. Maybe she could get this on the move, get the truth out faster than she thought. There was nothing more that Serena wanted than being able to tell B everything again. “Seriously, it means so much to me,” she glanced back at the hunter, unsure of what do next. Allison seemed like a sweet person for someone with such hunter ancestry. But then again, who was Serena to talk when she had a wolf inside of her?
Cautiously, she stepped forward and gave Allison a gentle hug. “You don’t have to tell her about your family’s hunting history. Just say that you know it was me,” she told her. She didn’t want Allison to get in any more trouble than necessary for her own carelessness. “I don’t know if it’ll be enough, but she needs to know.”
"You're welcome, I guess," Allison shrugged with a slight smile. This was possibly one of the weirdest situations she had ever been in, but she supposed that if she were in Serena's position, she'd want her best friend to believe her, too. "Okay," she nodded as she hugged her back, rather awkwardly. "I hope it'll be enough. Um... Should I tell her at her birthday party? Maybe at the end of the night so it's not completely ruined?" It sounded like a terrible time to tell her, but if Allison wanted to wait until the time was right to reveal news like that to someone, she'd be waiting until well after New Years.
