There are many occasions when emotions take over, even shaping the language we usually use — and I’m the first one to do it in everyday life. But form would overshadow the content, that’s why language here is so important.

• Comments. Keep it sharp, witty, and never invasive. The strength of our gaze lies precisely in our external position.

• Public sphere. We focus on what’s public: interviews, socials, PR moves, images. Everything that’s on stage.

There’s a lot of confusion about what Max is doing and what he was doing in Portugal, especially now that a new video from Cascais has surfaced.

Here’s a quick recap so everyone can understand the situation.

- On Saturday afternoon, Max, Kelly, P, Lily, and the nanny who travels everywhere with them flew to Cascais to celebrate Antonio Caccorino’s birthday in Lisbon.

- He is the person who posted Lily’s face on Instagram and Threads.

- The entire group then stayed in Lisbon until Monday afternoon (Max did not test any cars there), and the video currently circulating shows everyone boarding the plane again in Cascais just after noon.

- Max was taken to Faro so he could test in Portimão, while the girls flew on to Nice.

When Max finished testing after about a day and a half, his pilot picked him up again in Faro.”

Note

There is no trace of the flight who picked B up in Faro and was supposed to fly him back home.

That said, we do know that private flights can hide or remove visibility from public tracking systems.

For now, based on the searches I’ve done, that flight does not appear. We’ll keep searching.

On Wednesday he is supposed will fly to Detroit for the Ford/RBR Event.

Haven't seen the pic but apparently there was a max sighting today too outside his building. Do we know anything about this?

Is it damage control or just him out and about getting spotted because he now lives in a tourist heavy area?

I just feel like people are reading way to much into this knowing the parties involved aren’t very bright. I don’t think there is some bigger picture or philosophical explanation. The guy probably posted it because it was group pic and frankly no one in that group seems to respect privacy. For adults or children. Mg doesn’t have a rhyme or reason to her madness. Shes seems extremely eratic

she likely just “lucked” into this person posting it and now backtracked (if it is her) to cover something she wishes she could be doing. Just like when that lady posted about her shopping for girl baby clothes and mg ran to one of her lackeys (f1gossipofficial) and pretended to be upset about it. But still followed that woman who apparently violated her trust.

To be honest I thought with the half face reveal and now this full one that even if Kelly wasn't the one posting for the full face, she had her hand in it. I wonder if she was being reactive about something. Potentially a fight with Max? Maybe the half face reveal was a "warning" to try to get him back onside (if they were having a disagreement) and it didn't work so she pushed the nuclear option?

De Costa (is that his name?) has posted a photo from the same vacation of himself, Nelson Jr and Max that made the rounds everywhere so there's no way he didn't know what he was doing.

I think the photo you’re referring to in the last paragraph is actually from a vacation this summer, because he — Félix da Costa — wasn’t in Brasil, so I believe that was a different occasion, probably Portugal, posted in some kinda year’s carousel.

As for the rest, yours is an absolutely possible explanation, because when we look at the possible reasons behind it, it really gives off a sense of reactivity. Especially if we think back to what you were saying: there was that half face reveal just a few days ago. That carousel was already, in part, a form of preview of the exposure. And if we consider all the others options there’s always something missing.

It can’t be a full clearance— a total “green light”— either, because otherwise there wouldn’t have been an immediate deletion from Ig.

The “accident” explanation is very hard to support too. Yes, the content was deleted quickly, but as we said we’re talking about people who are trained when it comes to social media and it stayed up on Threads for hours. On top of that, and it wasn’t just one photo — there was more than one. That’s another detail we hadn’t even mentioned yet. So it’s not like you can say, “one photo slipped through” or “I didn’t notice that in this one the children weren’t covered “ or something like that.

So we basically end up back at square one. Still, I’d say your line of reasoning it does seem the only one that it make sense for now,

I feel the answer is pretty simply imo. Nothing isn’t “working” because their relationship is built on a constant push and pull. She’s given an inch, she surely turns it into a mile. He’s passive aggressive (I say this as a fellow Libra) and she’s just straight up aggressive. Their communication is probably shit which leads to a bunch of loopholes and what aboutism.

If the person who posted the kid follows her on her social media, then they would’ve seen that she covers (not well but still covers) the baby’s face. There is no way around it. She continues to use her children as bargaining tools and access to things she wants (money, love, attention). And like the other anon said, they people around her let her 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, let’s try to extract the key nodes of your ask and go through them point by point.

I’d start with the Libra aggression–passivity issue, ⚖️ I won’t go into it now because it would be too long and ot — we could dedicate a whole other article to it and if you would like, we will — but it’s generally more complex than that.😂

As we were saying earlier in last reply with the “question of the questions Anon”, the real issue here is still the lack of logic on everything 😂 , but especially on the reasons behind the person who posted the pics. That’s the missing piece.

Let’s add to what we already said that he immediately deleted the post from Instagram; then probably Threads — which automatically cross-posts— stayed up for several hours, more than three, but then that was deleted too. These are other factual elements we need to start from, also tying back to the what we said in the previous post.

Then we have another issue: what is her outcome from this? I can’t see clearly it this time around. Meaning: this doesn’t exactly break down the door for her to start posting MiniB or using her for visibility. So what lever does this actually pull? The only answer can be some kind of personal retaliation. No others.

Because in the end, even if the post was online for just three hours, once a photo is online, it’s online. You don’t control it anymore.

So either it really was an accident — but it feels implausible - or not, we still don’t know the reasons behind it, but at least we do know who is impacted by it.

Let’s proceed in order.

About why that man had those photos:

A) because he was on vacation with them;

B) because it was probably a group photo that was later reshared, I imagine, among the people who were there.

Why he posted it, though, remains the question of all questions. Especially because there’s a difference between this kind of mistake being made by a “normal person”, someone who isn’t very exposed on social media and who might, let’s say, not fully reflect on their actions, and it being made by people who are all quite exposed and who actually work in that space, in terms of exposure. So we can consider them “trained”enough to make evaluations in general and on the specific case (let’s just think about all the time they spend together) and we assume they think before posting something.

So you are right , that’s the piece that’s completely missing.

I don’t want to come off victim blamey but at the end of the day the max knew she exploited her first kid. I don’t get why he thought it would be any different for his kid, other than misplaced naviety or just straight hubris.

I’m honestly not surprised this happened. This is the same woman that used sock puppet accounts to allude to the first child’s father being max versus her actual one. Mg has no shame and frankly continues to push boundaries because no one actually puts their foot down with her. It seems like the only one who has is daniil when he followed through on dumping her for good. Actions are supposed to have consequences. I agree with the other anon, if this isn’t the last straw for max than he is just to blame for having his child be in this environment.

But again, I think having a kid with her after seeing her history in of itself is an own goal (using your phrase).

I’m not sure there will be any fireworks today, but we’ll see what happens afterward, and that, in my view, will help us understand what both sides’ positions really were.

The truth is that we don’t know what happened and what’s going on, and, probably just like with D, these are things we’ll understand more from what happens in the future than from what’s happening now.

That said, there are two facts:

First of all, for the incident itself, in the end the key point is that it was done by a third party, not by her, and that is a fact that matters. As for why it was done — whether out of carelessness or for other reasons — we can’t really say. But it did happen, and if responsibility exists, I guess it will be identified and, if so, addressed accordingly, but that’s not something about us or that we can do it here.

On the other side we can’t ignore that just a couple of days ago she posted that 3 pics carousel that was pretty close to a face reveal too. And then if we add all the August “incidents”, it seems pretty clear that this is not the first round of this of battle.

I don’t follow AC private Instagram account, so I’m not familiar with the likes situation. If there is someone around who knows better and wants to explain, it could be helpful. I simply came across the public post on Threads, 👆which was than removed, after being online for about 3 hours.

Second, there is still the choice to go on vacation with a group of people who are very “social media exploiting” since ever. 🤷‍♀️

I don't even know what to say Liv. I always had an idea that Kelly would do this, but I guess in some way I wanted to hope she wouldn't use her child [because to me, there's no way she didn't know this was going to happen and even plan for it. It's like the leaked gender.]

If Max doesn't break up with her or announce a break up in the near future I'm going to be so disappointed with him. This has crossed a line. He cannot allow L to be used to this way by that group of people including her mother.

the doubt is more than legitimate because in the end the sources are always from the same side — I mean, it’s not like Sophie or Stan or Jos the ones who circulated the photo of the baby, it’s our beloved LegendaryGang so that part is pretty clear.

We know by now, as it is widely rumored that she can’t post P’s face anymore (always cheers to Daniil 🥂) And then, if we look at the photo, the group one — she actually looks almost angry. You can tell just by her body language: she seems upset, both with Blondie and with P, she’s literally turning her back on both of them, as if she’s cutting them out. And I mean, okay, Blondie, take it out on him if you want, but P? Poor thing — she’s a child, as if she were guilty of some kind of cosmic brutality or something. So it seems definitely to be some kind of strange anger there.

And about Blondie , I don’t think he’ll tolerate this, because this is a boundary he has always stated very clearly: exposing their daughter was never up for discussion. So now we’ll see.

They’re very interesting, because in both of them it seems that there are nine seats at the table.

And doing a quick count, considering, as we said previously, who we know for sure is there:

- Nelson and Patsy(2),

- Cacorino’s (4),

- Julia & husband (6) Cecchi

- K and her mom Sylvia (8)

leaves one seat for two ‘possible guests’ left and we didn’t actually see neither of them - Blondie and P 🤔

Anyway, math isn’t mathing.

I was thinking about the fact that if someone usually skips breakfast… but aside from that, it’s not even clear whether that table setting is only for breakfast — it could be brunch, it could be light lunch or a thousand different things. And anyway, in hotels, they always set the table for all the registered guests anyway, just the infants (0-2yo) are usually excluded.

Either the numbers don’t line up — or one place was quietly taken off the table. Which usually means one guest isn’t there 🤷‍♀️

I strongly doubt that P isn’t there, considering that we know their departure was reportedly postponed because she already had plans with her dad for Christmas.

So at this point, I’d say there’s only one possible candidate left. A blond one.

What we know so far from their stories is that Nelson and his family, Rita and her family, Julia, and Daniel are vacationing at a luxury resort in Angra dos Reis. Far too expensive for Nelson and Julia. I therefore assume Max has everything arranged and is staying there. Tuesday evening, Martin Garrix is giving a huge concert in Rio de Janeiro, which Max will definitely attend. Whether Max will celebrate New Year's Eve in Rio is unknown. There will be a huge fireworks display at sea, millions of people on the beach, and the next day, a huge party throughout the city. Now we're waiting for photos on the stories of his "friends."

About Tweet, Biographies, the Refusal of Complexity, Human Contradictions and Selective Empathy

Yesterday I just managed to reblog an image of Brigitte Bardot with no frame, without having the chance to wrapping up notes into a text.

In the meantime, I received an ask containing a tweet, which I am placing here on the bottom. That tweet gave me an additional impulse, and I am integrating it together with another one I had read this morning, as part of a broader reflection.

When it comes to biographies , I am not particularly fond of reductions — especially when we are talking about a person who lived ninety-one years.

I obviously share the position of those who write them, and I understand the constraints of characters, formats, and platforms, but the picture remains far more complex than that.

This kind of equivalence is not really about Brigitte Bardot. It is about a format of thought.

It is the same mechanism that reduces a long life, but to a handful of simplified elements. A mechanism that thrives on binary logic, on immediacy, on the refusal of complexity. Tweets, thirty-second debates, forced alignments, answers without questions — they all rely on the same gesture: closing the conversation before it has even begun.

We have to be careful in this sense, because often these are two sides of the same coin. Not because the people involved are the same, not because they represent the same ideas, and certainly not because they share the same intentions — intentions are profoundly different. But because they operate within the same communicative structure. One exists because the other is useful. It is a self-sustaining system, and a symptom of one of the failures of our time and at our expenses.

We still struggle to recognize this. And as long as we continue to demand simple answers to questions that are anything but simple, to stories that are anything but simple, we will keep producing public figures — in general, not just the ones most often cited — who reduce conversations to seconds, who offer only quick answers while silencing whoever comes next.

At that point, they’ll think we no longer right to have dialogue and debate.

We are left with shouted answers, and whoever shouts louder wins.

Arriving now at BB.

When we talk about a woman who lived ninety-one years, we are talking about a long biography. We are talking about someone who in some ways shaped European costume in the 1960s and 1970s. That is a fact. Another fact is that over the last twenty years she took positions that were deeply controversial, harsh, ferocious even, across a wide range of issues. Use whatever adjective you prefer; the substance does not change. That, too, is a fact.

There is also something else that strikes me, and that I find almost astonishing in its absence from many of these days’s discussions. Most of the focus remains on the political dimension of her public figure. And yet, perhaps the most disturbing, contradictory — and I struggle to even find the right adjective — ferocious and inhuman aspect of her life is rarely mentioned at all: the denial of her own child. The radical, absolute rejection of her son, carried out in such a definitive, cruel and uncompromising way, is something that, from a human point of view, feels profoundly atrocious. And still, almost no one brings it up.

And then there is another fact that cannot be ignored: it is impossible to look at her life without acknowledging that she was the first true celebrity animal-rights activist in history — the first globally famous figure to make animal protection a central cause of her life.

It unsettles you first on a human level, even before a political one. Because you inevitably ask yourself how it is possible that a person capable of such deep, coherent empathy toward animals — could at the same time be capable of behaviors that feel so profoundly disturbing towards others human beings.

This is not a political contradiction first and foremost. It is a human one. And it is the kind of contradiction that cannot leave you indifferent. It cannot fail to provoke questions. It cannot be flattened, compressed, or resolved in a limited number of characters. It simply cannot.

The coexistence of such radical empathy and such radical human denial is incompatible with reduction. It resists slogans. It resists binary thinking. It demands time, thought, and discomfort. And that is precisely why reducing feels only inadequate, in this case.

Her biography leaves us with more questions than answers. Reading and rereading what has been written about her, one question keeps returning: how is it possible to exercise empathy so radically in one direction, and deny it so completely in a others?

How can these two sides coexist within the same person?

To me, this is what remains.

Not nostalgia.

Not style.

Not an image.

But a deep disturbing human contradiction with no answer.

How is this possible? Who knows
