A few weeks ago, I returned from seeing Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators at Hampton Beach Casino with an abundance of photographs so voluminous that it has taken until this very moment to dig my way out.  What can I say? They’re photogenic guys.

In the process of capturing the glory of this show in digital visuals, I ended up with an abundance of shots featuring the Todd Kerns because he is so active and dynamic on stage that it’s quite hard to capture a clear shot of him during a performance. Hence, I have developed a theory that the nickname “Dammit” actually originated from the mouths of hundreds of frustrated photographers, but I digress.

I also developed a “keep shooting and hope for the best” approach to photographing the Hampton Beach show– hence abundance– and joked to Fleur that I had enough to do an all-Dammit slideshow. Her reply may or may not have been serious, but why not indeed? Review and more photos to come next week, in the meantime, enjoy a little fan fun.

I’ve been to shows all over America, and beyond, so I feel I can safely say that rock fans in New Hampshire might be the best ones out there. Forget what you’ve been told about New Englanders being aloof– if you come here, get yourself to a rock show and make a few hundred new friends in a matter of seconds. And if you’re lucky, that rock show will have Steel Panther, because Fanthers are next level.

We’ll have more pics of the band later this week, but at Steel Panther, the fans are the show.
