okay hear me out here (if you know then shhh)
okay so reverse robins and no capes au, damian(14/15), tim(7/8) and jason (5/4) have all been adopted (or they could all be bio, up to you) by bruce, anyway, the manor gets attacked and bruce dies, so that's just leaves damian, tim, jason and alfred, alfred attempts to move them to a safe house, unfortunately alfred dies in the process and the three boys are taken to a secondary location, all of gotham is in a famine and it's chaos, there's violence everywhere and everyone knows there's a war coming
the boys' kidnappers know that they're not gonna be able to get enough food for all of them to eat, eventually, one of the men takes jason away from tim and damian, damian attempts to comfort his younger brother, he should know what to do, but truth is, he is scared, his dad and alfred are dead and all he has left is his little brothers. jason doesn't come back, but there's stew for everyone for a while, damian knows what the meat is, tim is smart enough to figure it out from the way damian gags and throws up after eating it
(i think we all have an idea of where this is going.)
evebtually damian and tim are found by the police, they're both separated, damian is collected by ra's al ghul, tim doesn't have any family left, and so he's sent to the orphanage made out of the wayne manor where he has to share what used to be his own home with at least a hundred other boys, he finds himself mute from the trauma. tim stays there for a few years, due to his mutism, tim finds himself in trouble a lot for not respecting the staff working at the orphanage
tim is eventually collected by his uncle in paris, where he goes on to study medicine and finds himself having a fascination with death, tim goes after jason's killers and kills them all

fast forward a few years, tim finds himself estranged with damian, damian already moved on, damian has dick now, tim doesn't include himself with that family. tim works as a psychiatrist, he gets good money, especially considering the mass clientele he has in gotham, no one lives in gotham without getting fucked up in some way, one day he's called in by head of the behavioral science unit at the FBI, special agent clark kent, tim accepts the offer and heads down to the FBI academy and there he meets special agent conner kent, a criminal profiler with an eye for murder and perhaps a palette deserving of dirtying
if you couldn't tell yeah i basically just ripped hannibal off, but i think it would be a cool au, especially if damian knew that tim was the one behind it, but that's his brother so he keeps his mouth shut, or maybe damian's like garret jacob hobbs and dick's like abigail (that would be fun)
