Working on a animated video…🎵

Not sure how i feel about the “somehow Ernesto returned” story line we’re allegedly getting in Coco 2. Like maybe it’s just me, but Ernesto was never the most interesting part of Coco and them saying he’s going to “take his revenge”? He got pretty royally owned at the end of Coco which felt like excellent karma. I feel like this won’t feel as interesting as the Rivera family taking revenge for Hector. (Plus since Ernesto will remain alive until his final death does this imply that they’re going to keep fighting for revenge forever? Or are they going to redeem him or something?)

On top of all that, I think it’s a shame why we need to bring Ernesto back into the story in general bc the world here is so interesting. I’m sure there are a ton of cool stories they could tell with these characters without having to bring back the defeated villain.

I dunno, I’ll still go see it because I see every pixar movie in theaters. I love Coco so much I just really want this to do it justice and be worth it to add a sequel to a perfect stand alone movie.

Anyone else have thoughts???

While he grows more accustomed to the idea of starting a family, Hector knows that Ernesto do whatever it takes to become famous… even if it means putting their friendship at risk. Art is inspired by the “A Star is Born” (2018) poster!

I WROTE A STORY!!!

hi guys 🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️🧍🏻‍♀️ so i know my activity has been very sparse on tumblr for the past year-ish. i’m sorry to all my fandom friends </3 I hit a rough patch with school stress and life in general. BUT I HAVE EXCITING NEWSSSS

I have been working on an original story (on and off for, like, about a year-ish?), but I was going through the trenches of my junior year of high school, so it's safe to say it didn't end up going anywhere until now LOL. I've had a couple of "pilot" chapters sitting in my Google Docs, so what better than to post them on AO3 and maybe drum up the motivation to continue the story at the same time?

If this does well enough on tumblr (translation: 2 people read it, maybe that’s asking too much), i’ll also go back to my murder drones fics and start a coco one as i’ve been thinking about!

It’s about two teenage orphans living in a ganghouse who accidentally cause a massive war!! yay!!! that is a very brief synopsis. I haven’t finished it yet 🤷🏻‍♀️ i don’t know when I will finish it 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ but if you’re interested the link is below 😻
