The dream

I adopted a cat last weekend. His name is Ned and he is my soulmate. You’re welcome!

Good Things

I started my new job this week and wow it’s great! Everyone is SO nice and helpful and I have a desk which I have decorated with a bonsai tree and a photo of me and Drew. I wear professional outfits and unlock doors with a little beeper and, best of all, I make lots of money. I don’t know what I did to qualify for a job this great, and I feel kind of like a little kid who’s wearing an oversized trench coat, but I keep reminding myself I am a qualified adult and I will be able to do this.

Today we got approved for our apartment! (Me and a friend, not me and Drew yet.) Things are going to be tight, especially as we set up our utilities and all, but we’ll do it and it’s going to be great.

Best of all, I can get a cat soon! I met one the other day I love so much. If he’s still there once I’m moved in I’ll be going to get him. In the meantime, I’m starting to soak up time with Rental Cat before we have to say goodbye. I love her way too much.

I haven’t been this happy with my life in like...a long time. Good things are happening. Life is good :)
