My Life, At a Short Glimpse

My life is a mess, at best but that does not inflict on who I am. An outsider would say ‘Im strong, independent and well natured’ when in truth they couldn’t be more wrong.

If you were to strip the wallpaper and paint, you would find the complete opposite. I am a child. A timid, scared and gullible adolescent. Still pure and deceived by the nature of this world. Desperately trying to find the explanations and intentions of someone’s actions. I tell myself ‘it’s not their fault, it’s their Enviroment’ just to excuse their harsh words.

I always find myself asking why, why should that matter? Is this my purpose? My calling?

To be a punch bag, and soften the blow. To be a sponge, and absorb others negativity.

Surely there is more to this so called life.

okay, so here’s the thing. i’ve got a student prime account and netflix. comes to about $15.91 a month. if i added the commercial-free version of hulu, it would come to $27.90 a month.

basic cable before internet is $64.99 a month. which includes commercials. and infomercials. about a quarter of all television is commercials. which is about $16.25 a month to have someone selling shit to you.

explain how it’s my and my generation’s fault that we’re not falling for the same scam our parents are.

Apart of my soul has just died...

I am sorry.

I am sorry, that when my depression becomes too much, I hide. Trapped in my own mind. A prisoner to my thoughts.

The very thoughts, I hold close as if they were a secret. For if they were ever released, they would unmask the fragile and damaged product that I am.

These are not alone. They visit with anger and hatred, who are not as easy to suppress. I find myself unintentionally spilling these unwanted emotions onto you.
