oh. she absolutely cannot watch this. the secondhand embarrassment is just too much. turning away from the scene in front of her, she subtly looked at the person next to her as she mumbled, " i'm honestly hoping that the ground would just open up right now and swallow us whole. this is just too painful to watch. " // @aurorabaystarter
Abby had just closed the bar when she noticed the scene in front of her. With a slight eye roll, she moved around the two guys trying to pick themselves up and nodded her head. "I wish the ground would swallow them whole, do us all a favor."
Open: @aurorabaystarter – Just a fun game of pool.
"Alright, if I make a jump shot for the eight-ball to the left corner pocket, from this position, what do I get?" A pastor's daughter probably shouldn't be one to hustle people out of money. However, it did help pay for a few meals and adventures during her college run. It wasn't until she got to college that she learned how to play pool from this meticulous frat bro who knew the front-to-back the game of pool yet had zero self application for real things in this life. At least he helped her and now she got to show of her skills to a growing crowd of witnesses. "Surely, you'll make it worthwhile."
Abby wasn't typically the type to hang out, playing pool but it was a night off and she was in desperate need of some fun. Plus, this girl seemed like she knew how to have fun. She looked her up and shrugged. "Whatever you want." She picked up her stick, twirling it between fingers and leaned against the pool table. "I'm sure I'll give you a run for your money."

"You didn't expect me to be in the classroom all day, did you?" Charley cocked his head to the side and let out a soft chuckle. "Reclusive history professor I may be but you can't expect me to always be inside or working can you?" He shrugged a little. "The boat and water sometimes just make me want to head out and disappear, although I think Cass would be pretty mad at me if I did."
The Lighthouse had always been one of her favorite spots, it was Rocky's too but Abby needed a break and had left her beloved pet at home. She'd been staring out at the water, collecting her thoughts when she'd heard a voice and let out a small laugh. She didn't him well, but she remembered him from her brief stint in school a few years prior. "Guess even professors have to have a life." She teased. "Sometimes I wish I could disappear." She offered up a small smile. "Cass your daughter?"

Short Bio
Abby lived a pretty good life despite being brought up by a single mother. Her brother being about 4 years older than her was always very protective over her and took on the role of caregiver as their mother worked two jobs to keep food on the table. With that being said, she's extremely close to her brother.
When she was about 16, she went on a search for her dad. Her mother and brother never found out about it and her search turned up empty handed. She never felt the need to tell them, though.
She's had Ripley since she was a teenager, a companion was what she needed after her failed attempts to find her father. The two have been inspirable ever since.
Being an animal lover is how Abby met Faye and the two had a bond over their mutual love of all things animals. However, they quickly found out that it takes more than a love of pets to make a relationship work and called off their romance.
Abby's not had a lot of romantic relationships, she's always been to focused on trying to make it as a singer, getting gigs wherever she can. But even she gets lonely sometimes, even with two pets, and has hopes someone will come along someday to sweep her off her feet.
Abby works at the bar but has dreams of being a singer. However with her twenties being nearly over she fears this dream might just stay that way. With a sad heart and a notebook full of material, she's considering closing that chapter and going back to school.
Abby's a bit of a quiet girl, not that that stops her from making friends. She likes to think she's personable enough to be a friendly enough face for people to approach her. One of the many reasons she got into bartending.
