I am going to be in the process of archiving Abby. This has been a long time coming. It has nothing to do with the Mary situation. It has more to do with me. I have been unhappy on this blog for some time. I think a fresh start will be good. I will continue some threads on the new blog. just because your character wouldn’t fit in with my character’s canon verse, doesn’t mean we can’t rp. au/crossover things are my life, you guys; i will be more than happy to either fit my character to yours’ canon verse or to make up an entirely different verse for both of them to interact in. it’s a great outlet for creativity and it’s just a lot of fun to throw two characters into a world they’ve never canonically been in. 

basically, when i say i’m a multiverse blog, i mean it. just come talk to me, you wonderful people, and let’s make our loser muses live in a medieval world or be spies or live in space or something.

Five thousand year long sigh...

Honestly, I don’t have enough rum in the bottle for this kind of bullshitty drama that’s been going on. But hey, whatever. Sometimes I swear a friendship breaking up can be messier than a relationship breaking up. If you’re curious, feel free to click and read the rest of this. I need to vent. 

Just so I have a name to refer to, we’re going to call the ex-friend Mary. 

For maybe the past month and a half, Mary has been acting really distant. It happens from time to time on both of our parts. We RP mostly on Kik these days (per her suggestion). As far as talking normally, nothing. Then she stopped replying altogether. She would still be incredibly active on Tumblr. Almost to the point where all I had to do was sign into either this account or my Tinkerbell account and constantly seeing her active. So what? She probably was just preferring other muses over Tink. The thing is she used to be really good about telling me that she probably wasn’t going to respond to anything from Tink for a while because she wasn’t feeling it, and I have never once tried to make her feel guilty over that. At least she was being up front and honest with me. 

Fast forward to about a two weeks ago. I message her to see how things are going. I get a really short and almost snippy reply (we’ve been RPing together for nearly two or three years so I know when she’s being snotty or not). I leave it, figuring she’s stressed over school. But then, I start getting anon messages on this account, Tink’s account, and my fanfic account. All of which are incredibly mean and hit very close to home. By very close to home, I mean they touched on everything I’m insecure about. My weight. Whether or not I’m a good RPer. Whether or not people want me around. That they only interact with me because they feel sorry for me. How I should just delete every Tumblr account I have. No wonder my sister hates me. That sort of thing. Things that are very personal and only someone who has been around awhile would know to touch on. I would get two or three daily. They were ignored and deleted, and they stopped coming after half a week. 

I revamped Abby and have been very excited about doing more with her. I guess Mary decided that it was time to take the wind out of my sails again. Starting just this week, the hate messages started coming in again and more prominently in this inbox. I ignored them. Then I made my snide post. They didn’t stop this time. In fact, I woke up yesterday to ten very mean messages. I saw them when I first woke up because the app informed me that I had so many asks in the inbox. They were all anonymous. Instead of just deleting them and not paying them any mind. I read every single one of them a few times over. Then I deleted them and acted like they didn’t bother. Yet, the more I sat on Tumblr having not paced myself with replies or answering asks like I should have (so I could trick myself into thinking I had more to do than I really did), the more I felt like I wanted to cry. I suddenly felt ignored and unwanted for no other reason except it seemed like nobody wanted to RP with me. 

And then I just broke. So I said that I was going to take a few days to sort myself out. I’ve never been good at taking breaks. Most of mine are accidental, but I thought a couple of days of occupying myself otherwise would help. I figured out earlier this week that all those messages were from Mary so she has since been blocked on pretty much everything. Except...I forgot she had my phone number. 

As of an hour ago (10 PM central), I got a very long text from her. At first, it sounded like an apology. Mary explained that things have been really hectic for her and that she was taking it out on me. She did admit to sending some of the messages, that she just wanted someone to hurt as much as she was. The more she went on, though. The less sorry she actually sounded. I am always the first to excuse when someone takes something out of me. Once again, that goes back to how my sister has always treated me (another story for another time). I mean, I am the world’s worst when it comes to allowing people I consider friends walk all over me. The only difference between them and my sister is that I finally stopped letting her. Everyone else not so much. Needless to say, Mary will be one less person allowed to use me as their punching bag. If this had been the first time she’s done this to me, I would have no problem forgiving her. It’s not the first time, and I can almost bet it wouldn’t be the last time either. So I cut her out of my life. 

Part of me thinks that she wasn’t too happy to see me so happy. Mary was never a very happy person, and I think I kept her around more because she reminded me of my sister than anyone else ever has before. I try not to surround myself with people who remind me of my sister because generally I am a happy person. I’ve always been considered bubbly once you got to know me. I gave up being a quiet mouse when I graduated high school. No one was going to be beat me down to where I just felt so low about myself. Mary isn’t the first person I’ve allowed in my life to treat me that way. Sadly, she likely will not be the last. 

But I do want to apologize to people I know I’ve probably scared off or pissed off throughout this week’s drama. I swear I am not usually that whiny or that negative about things. I am sorry if you thought I was trying to make you feel guilty or sorry for me. That was never my intention. And I do want to thank anybody who would listen to me complain about my problems. You have no idea how much I appreciate that.
