I just realized this: is it just me or is it crazy that they don't have another onscreen kiss after "Flight of Fancy" until they get back together in season 12?

it's definitely strange bc despite the ups and downs, their chemistry would've/did improve (the 7x20 hug vs. the 7x04 kiss is a whole different body language) but then again s7 was never set on selling them to us as couple, they were more of a step along the way. showing us they had good chemistry or that they genuinely cared about each other was not something the writers were seemingly interested in.
