Ned Stark, his wife and Rob Stark's ending was a result of that they acted according to their own values without taking others' values into consideration! In her last scene, Rob's mother, Catelyn Stark, was threatening the killer king of cutting his wife's throat to force him let her son go, thinking that he has the value of appreciation towards family as she does. It was not the best way to think about what he really cares about.. Ignoring how others value things has cost the Starks their lives
