Natalie smiled although it wasn’t genuine, it was hard to wrap her head around the fact they could try again in the moment so she ignored it. “I’m sorry for worrying you,” she let a chuckle of embarrassment leave her lips. “I just don’t want you resenting me one day, that’s all.”
“I am worried,” Abel admitted, looking over her features again. It had been a long time since he’d even thought things weren’t going well. “But to be totally honest..” he sighed deeply before continuing. He knew that kids were something that made Nat feel some kind of resentment. “I have a child. So it’s really up to you if you want to have one. I’m not missing out on anything except having a child with you.”
