“I am worried,” Abel admitted, looking over her features again. It had been a long time since he’d even thought things weren’t going well. “But to be totally honest..” he sighed deeply before continuing. He knew that kids were something that made Nat feel some kind of resentment. “I have a child. So it’s really up to you if you want to have one. I’m not missing out on anything except having a child with you.”
His words made her feel uneasy, it was never something she liked to be reminded of. Now she just regretted bringing it up. “It doesn’t matter,” she shrugged. “It’s too much to “find other options” and there’s no guarantee that’ll work either, we might just end up worse off. It’s okay, I’ve accepted it now. I just wanted to know where you stood.”
