ੈ✩‧₊˚ Caught between the lattice of fictionalized, digital worlds and our very own tangible reality, the Perfect Person is the definition of an enigma, both in terms of characterization and sheer power. Created to be a toy and tool for all collective writers, it roams the multiverse to reach out to all corners of these numerous realms and bring forth its writer's will, be it nefarious and cruel or benevolent and charitable.
CHARACTER INFORMATION ☄. *. ⋆
✎ THE PERFECT PERSON ⋆ he/it
╰┈➤ This felid is frighteningly aware of everything going on around it- it seems to know every little detail of its own life, including its own construction and the massive eldritch creatures and creators who dictate its fate. His knowledge stretches to other fictional beings as well, as it can fully interpret and read character biographies and direct messages. In addition to coveted knowledge, it holds dominion over the worlds it finds itself in, enabling it to teleport itself, others, and objects, manifest all manner of creations regardless of scale and complexity, and modify the fabric of reality around it, and it insists upon written consciousness where it is actively concurrently aware of each interaction it is in at the same time...
╰┈➤ However, the main and massive caveat to the Perfect Person's strength is that it can only do what writers allow. In this sense, the Perfect Person despite the cap of its abilities is not all powerful- in actuality, its terrifically weak and pitiful, as you could entirely strip it of all functionality and knowledge. Without writer permission, it could not even tap into its senses as it has no physical form, and would not be able to smell, hear, or see at all, much less move if you so wished it.
╰┈➤ GNC transgender gay feline anthropomorphic creature, around 5'3" when alone and morphs its appearance to be slightly taller than anyone it meets when in the company of others. Long, tufted tail, massive tall ears, and one singular right eye. It appears pure #FFF white, with pink and blue chromatic aberration- all creatures in fiction see it as a glitch in reality, flat, with no shadows cast upon it except on its clothes, which is usually a purple suit. It may also occasionally be seen with a pink and blue starry halo and mismatched wings.
MUN INFO AND RULES ☄. *. ⋆
🕊 I am (nearly) 21 years old (11/14/2003) and I use he/it/star. I have 2 jobs and am in college with a tendency to drop interests for periods of time, so I may not be consistently present.
🕊 I will interact with basically anyone, including other OCs and fandom blogs. I will trend towards literate roleplay but am perfectly capable of casual roleplay. I am also a touch rusty on writing a lot of flowery prose, so please be patient and understanding if I don't gussy up posts or throw up 10 paragraphs every day.
🕊 Please feel free to take control of PP's senses! Weaken him, gaslight him, torture him! Knock that Godmodder down a few pegs! I hope that no one is turned off of interacting with it due to its omnipresent shtick.
🕊 Shipping is permitted and encouraged! However PP will likely retain multiple partners at once and may not inform each partner of this, meaning that effectively he WILL cheat on your OC, because it sucks.
🕊 I am more than happy to engage in darker roleplay featuring physical violence and mental turmoil.
🕊 Don't be afraid to DM me about anything at all, especially planning! You can also contact me at catastrophyte on Discord, and I would love it if you joined my personal Discord.

"At this rate, we'll figure out who it was by process of elimination. It wasn't me and it wasn't you. Now we just need to find out who else it wasn't." Playful.
"Any handsome young serial killers in need of a home roaming about? Hello. Hi. Hey. Are there any handsome young serial killers who desire housing in my general vicinity. Asking for a friend. Hey."
Sort of looking around for a trouble button near her hospital bed while trying to think of an answer.
"I don't eat much sweets. But if you got like...milk chocolate or peanut butter candy, sure." Emphasis on candles had her shooting a look at him. Eye lights a little too steady on their face. "If you're the freak asking me about candle scents, don't bother--I'll eat them." And she would.
Even if it resulted in a whole 'nother surgery to get it out again.
"Of course," the Perfect Person says evenly and tactfully, keeping that little smile on its face though its eye narrows at the comment. Massive can of worms that was not at all worth getting into, even with anything as simple as a snide jest only for its own amusement. It's own thoughtless amusement was the exact reason it was in this less than ideal situation in the first place! It did feel rather awkward about not being appropriately sensitive... "I just...," arms bent, pawls parallel to its shoulders, momentarily clutching as it thinks, eye scanning around the room, drinking in all of the details as far as it can. "Don't think? Ever?" It eventually supplies as reasoning.
"Re-lax, I would never be anything hiding behind an anonymous mask. I mean--" its paws raise to its face, almost as if it were aghast, "Imagine hiding something so beautiful! Lacking credit for my wondrous words! That'd be horrible, so horrible." It shudders at the thought, grin relaxing and growing on its snout. "I'm. Just. Being. Nice." Strange creature as it is, it has a tendency to off-kilter, inexplicable presentation. To support its statement, it reaches into its pocket and pulls out two (2) unbranded (though wrapped nicely and professionally as if it were from some sort of treat bag) peanut butter filled chocolates and drops them not in her hands or on any nearby flat surface, but instead upon her lap.
For the record, the candies aren't uncomfortably warm or melted despite having apparently been in its pocket for an unknown amount of time. They're just normal, pristine, fresh out the bag unbranded mystery candies.
"We fucking with OPIUM in this house? OP tell me your opinion of ketamine at once!"
Startled.
"I-I haven't tried it." Leaning away slightly. "Ketamine or, uh, what's it called--Fent. I got to opium and dabbled into heroin and then cut myself off. Still kinda...fall back on the opium sometimes. I get too heavy into a drug when it does what I want it to do."
"... Well, that response was wholly realistic and not very funny at all!" The Perfect Person says, paws raised in disgruntlement as it realizes it has wholly misjudged this character. He forgets sometimes that human adjacent folk have rather precarious healths, both physical and mental-- he's very used to cartoon type characters who could withstand a piano falling on them, and his own history doesn't help in him immediately taking drug use seriously. "Carry on, then, and I wish you well! Do you want-- do you want candies? Candles?" It raises its eyebrows, smile tense on its little snout.
"... Maybe I should just rent with someone. Anyone looking to split an apartment with the pinnacle of being? It'll be great. I'd never chide you for throwing parties in our home. I would always be there."
"An endless well of affection!" The Perfect Person folds its arms behind its head, leaning back. "Luxuries abound! I've done so much work for everyone else, I would just love to see anyone scrapping to try and perform even an iota of what I would do at the drop of a hat." It closes its eye, thinking, its boisterous tone lowering to something decidedly more casual, almost breathy in consideration. "Being put in a situation where I'm no longer responsible for figuring out all of the details. Being shown that people care and are trying. Being amused at the effort, content with the result. I don't know." Its eye snaps open and it unfolds to wave the thought away. "And domestic life. I miss having a house, living in it with someone. Just being around guys felt so nice."
The Perfect Person is insanely easy to please, flustered and quelled with simple romantic acts-- and if he particularly likes you, any acknowledgement at all delights him, so something as simple as company and idle chat fulfills him. This is not to say that he is fully a lost cause-- it is very capable of seeing when it is being taken advantage of and receiving little more than tension and fear of suitable reaction. Still, if it is satisfied at the end of the day, it will persist off of very little. But ideally, it loves to see effort from another as well as mundane life where it can masquerade as a person.
The Perfect Person exhales a chuckle, apparently amused or exasperated at the question. "No, duh." It sets its paw against its chest; digits pressed against fabric, fingers arced concave and palm tense away from it, "I'm a perfect person, if not the Perfect Person, as a proper noun and singular. What is the point of self-destruction? It doesn't help anything. It doesn't feel good. It troubles the people near you and makes you look stupid, the type of stupid you can never escape from. Such permanence must be avoided, in the case you find yourself wishing you'd never fumbled in the fire place." It throws its paws up to the point where they're parallel with its shoulders, arms bent in the traditional 'whatever' gesture. "I exist largely to try and pin down others self-destructive tendencies and eliminate them. I'd be a knowing hypocrite if I engaged in what I was tasked with terminating despite being aware of the phenomenon at play and potential solutions to pick at. Do you really think that little of me?" It puts on a faux miserable expression, ears drooping and eye wide and wet, its frown trembling as if it might erupt into sobs if challenged.
The Perfect Person is near exclusively self-destructive in a lattice of ways almost too complicated to even begin to describe. Its occupation and title make it sick and distressed, yet it still must perform actions that haunt it. It is perfectly capable of making moves and sounds to disobey, which is actively harmful to it in the sense that it can and will put a tangible target on its back. It metronomes back and forth between compliance and rebellion, or often exists in both states at once, getting the worst of both worlds; its inability to change in the face of this conflict can be attributed to self-destruction as it wallows in its misery, never resolving to go either way. Much of its boisterousness shown in responses isn't primarily the Perfect Person lying to the viewer, but instead the Perfect Person lying to itself, refusing to analyze itself or focus on any self improvement as it cannot admit to any follies or issues it has-- if it does admit to an issue, it has a few dozen justifications, excuses, and obstacles in the way of doing anything about it stored, waiting to be shared. Again, this stagnation and permissibility of harmful conditions can be categorized as self-destruction, especially as it calls out the same in others. It obsesses over pursuing relationships it knows it has no business being in, and once it is there, its exceedingly manic and outrageous behaviors to others that it cares for or others who it would be ashamed of to act inappropriately in front of is also pretty intentional on the Perfect Person's part. It is eager to ruin relationships with others, as despite yearning for company, it does not value said company consciously and believes it is better off without intimate connections. As such, it has very violently avoided and dismissed those who have attempted to get it help. It gravitates towards aggressive, unpleasant individuals in part in the hope that they may turn their violence towards him, and it has a tendency to bite its own hands and arms as self stimulation.
4. When scared, does your OC fight, flee, freeze or fawn?
Edgy/misc OC ask meme ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
"Fight, obviously," the Perfect Person chuckles, raising its paws up in fists in the traditional cartoon 'Put em up!' gesture. "Firstly, what is there to scare me? Nothing could physically harm me and I don't value anything at all in this wretched life. What could be leveraged against me? But secondarily, in the off chance that something does frighten me, I could just trounce it. Obliterate it, even! Remove it from the memory of everything and anything it may have graced, rebuild a world where whatever torments me never existed in the first place! I could yank their limbs off until they're only connected to the midsection by threads, I could, I-- I'm getting told to put a cork in it, sorry! But, you know, you get the gist. I've gone on and on about this all before, the torture I could impart and all."
In incidents in which the Perfect Person is terrified, it cannot comprehend anything but fawn. Despite the posturing, it's fairly easy to rattle provided it has something or someone to care about. Back in the time where it was often, every other week, tormented by some new event, it was only so vulnerable as it was obsessed with trying to solve and fix the world to keep up appearances and to gain the approval of other people as it did, and still does, desperately yearn for attention. Thus, every time something went wrong it would spiral horribly about failing those it cared for, potentially hurting them in the process as it often faced world ending incidents, and looking horribly stupid in a way it would never be able to strike from its records (God keeps score, unfortunately). It is actually rather adverse to using violence against anything that is important (often reserving it to assault random bystanders whom it does not care for or whom it thinks are offhandedly evil in a way a good punch is enough to solve) as its fear of failing in shows of strength is massive, so rarely would it ever fight. Instead, it often turns to the nearest person is trusts and begins to beg for assistance. Just tell me how to fix it, command me, guide my hand, I can do it all if you just tell me what I'm supposed to be doing, I can't do this alone, I'm too stupid, you're more clever than me- and if you were wrong, that's your fault, not mine. It feels very lost, you see. It's used to, and was created to, be controlled entirely by another person with clear intention. Since it has been tossed to act practically on its own in interpersonal situations, it becomes frantic and clingy, unable to do much of anything at all without explicit permission from others. It also does this due to the inability to cope with being wrong, thus preferring that all situations be the responsibility of other people who use it as a tool. Don't blame the hammer for the head wound! In a lot of causes, too, fawn will manifest as adoration towards the villain. It's preferred method of rehabilitating villains and saving worlds from evil actions has been to try and seduce malicious parties, both because it believes its love to be purifying but also due to its known obsession with witnessing damage unfolding before it. Best case scenario they stop killing people, but worse case scenario he gets to giggle on the sidelines while they take axes to heads while feeling as if its not his responsibility to stop because, well, it's bad when strangers commit violence but he knows the goodness in their heart so it's quite alright, recovery isn't linear, maybe they'll be better next week, I'll keep an eye on it.
In short; find something that bothers it and you have your very own loyal puppy dog who will do anything you ask of it as it acts neurotic and insane in the ensuing panic.
"I don't need to forget anything," The Perfect Person says boisterously before pausing and mulling over its words, what had been written. "I don't need to want to... rather to, forget." It clarifies sloppily, seemingly utterly disinterested in the thought. "The implication would be that we're looking into troubling, traumatic incidents that I would want washed out of my brain, but I have never been troubled, distressed, or otherwise traumatized." It waves its paw dismissively as if to permit the exit of the thought. "And anyways, most things that involved me in the past have been wiped out, at least as far as our consciousness goes. Paragraphs of text spanning months locked behind a barrier; in effect, my memories lost as I can not review them. Forgetting it really easily, if I ever wanted, actually," it grins at the camera, "I'd just delete the text, simple as."
This claim that anything deleted is removed from its mind is an outright lie, though based in some truth; given the memory loss of the writer extending out to the bank of knowledge the character possesses, at best the Perfect Person has short term memory loss and at worst cannot recall anything not immediately remembered that it (as in, I) cannot reread. Still, it definitely remembers most of the loose scenarios, justifying its ability to prattle on and on about the people its met and things its done in areas now inaccessible to it. But to the question, there's plenty that the Perfect Person would forget as it is often haunted and frightened by things it recalls and specifically people it misses; if it could, it'd lobotomize itself only to purge the memory of its now lost loved ones and all the stupid things it did for them and the ways they made him measurable worse. It'd save him the dignity and make his current life much, much easier. He still finds himself yearning for what he knows should have killed him.
i realllyyy would love to reblog starter ask games (like those "send (x) to (whatever with my muse)" but im struggling to find good ones. a lot of them are predicated on having characters who know each other and pp has Nooooo connections right now. if anyone has good ones for beginning dynamics .. slide them my way (flutters eyelashes at you)
aaaand also on a related note generally. always. come and talk to me.. i would recommend you speak to me on discord where i will respond more easily (i have this blog only open on like. private tabs im not using primarily) but i want to hear everyone talking about their ocs and their histories and the thingies they like.. smiles at you
an ask game where, instead of replying from your perspective, you answer as if it's your original character/muse/self-insert/etc. answering the question ✨
