Falcata hadn't actually been aiming for rifting their way directly inside the building, and certainly hadn't meant to enter from a 45 degree angle above the floor, dropping from a few feet to thud flat on the floor like a sack of potatoes. Any other day and they would have caught themself, or at least sprung to their feet within moments, but today every movement felt like an ordeal. Ribs probably re-broken after all this, and that made it hard to breathe right; they were sucking short shallow breaths that barely felt like enough air.
The pain of their ribs completely dulled in comparison to the pain from their left hand though; freshly missing the pinkie and ring finger, they had it held close to their chest and dripping blood absolutely everywhere. Thankfully there are no major arteries in fingers, so the bleeding was already slowing, but one doesn't simply chill when you've had some fingers sliced off.
Falcata slowly dragged themself to their feet from where they'd landed, sword in trembling hand, and glanced back at the rift they'd opened. Didn't have the energy to close it. Everyone can just fucking deal with it until it fades away. Or maybe Vox can close it. Maybe they'll shoot Fal for trespassing in some random floor of the tower and tearing a rift into it and bleeding on the floor. Fine. Whatever.
Falcata sheathed their sword and stumbled their way to the nearest person they could find, obsidian-scaled tail dragging on the ground behind them, and grabbed the person by the shoulder. Falcata's voice came out raspy and quiet. Throat was bruised to shit. "I'm looking for...guy...this tall...dark hair..."
Couldn't imagine Lucifer went by Lucifer here; this hell already has a pretty fucking prominent Lucifer. Just going to do a shit job describing him instead. It was either that or go to Valentino, and Fal didn't really think they'd gotten to fix my severed fingers levels of rapport with Valentino. They had even less rapport with Lucifer, arguably, but Lucifer for sure knew how to get Fal home, and that was the best they could think to do in their current state. Just get home. Envy can fix this.
