Milk and honey “Outlook”
spooks season
The framework of her past has created layers of stone around her.
Generally, they remain in tact but on occasion she feels like she can break through them.
How long that opening stays depends on the experiences she has out in the world.
Or at least, the perceptions her past has defaulted her mind to see around her.
Her exterior seems solid and strong but the soul that lies within is full of cracks and she’s forever wondering how long they will hold.
There are far too many to repair on her own but through her skewed lens, no one is keen enough to help her.
Little does she know,
There is someone out there with enough love to show her that holding the cracked stone together is keeping her from experiencing life without the weight of her past suppressing her.
Someone with a heart strong enough to hold her when she lets the stone crumble around her and realizes there is a safe place beyond the walls she confides in.
