Group papers are the dumbest idea any professor has ever come up with. There is no efficient means of doing one.

Even in writing more rigid works such as research papers, differences in tone and style are inevitable. On top of this, its impossible to get everyone on the same page as far as ideas go. So if you take the divide and conquer approach you end up with this deformed heap of bullshit thats all vaguely tied together. And all working on it together in one room is impractical, frustrating, and time-consuming.
