Delilah nodded her head slowly looking at her sister, she didn’t know if she would be able to get past all the memories that came after her sister left but she would try. As they walked out she looked around, “it’s different than I expected.”

“Yeah, definitely -- That’s what I thought at first too. Especially since I thought they didn’t have that much funding but,I think they try to make it as nice as they can while patients stay here,” she shrugged, only making an assumption, however it always being one that’s optimistic.

Abigail exhaled loudly, her one hand being placed in Ezra’s hand while the other ran up and down the side of her body as she kept her panic to a small minimum. She nodded, answering his question, “I-I, d-don’t know why this h-happened....” she confessed.

Delilah looked at her sister and shrugged, “I don’t know maybe. All the good memories for me are from before you left.” When Abigail had left Delilah had taken a bit of a downward spiral and it had caused her to be part of some not so good memories. “I doubt it.”

“We’ll make more, okay? Even if they are going to be some of them locked up in here,” she shrugged her shoulders, opening the door to the garden. “And here we are, “ she smiled softly, her own eyes continuing to roam around the open space.

Delilah smiled and nodded his head, “I was really disappointed.” She chuckled as she thought about the memory letting it overshadow everything else in her head.

“I’ll see if I can get a tv and a dvd player into the library at some point,” Nicolai replied with a small grin, “Which hobbit, there are many hobbits,” he said with a bemused smile, not entirely sure what the girl was trying to say.

“Okay… yeah of course we could. What would we do after we’ve beaten the baddest of the bad though?”

“Yeah, you just let me know about that,” she laughed, noticing the grin on his face only allowed for the one on her own to grow larger, slightly covering it before she answered the following question. “No, you are the hobbit,” she teased, “Bilbo Baggins” she replied.  “We could take a break for a little bit, you know? We all need our rest at some point, -- Even if we are ninja librarians and their sidekicks.”

“Wow… I haven’t been down here before,” Mason said a little excitedly as he stepped in behind Abigail. “Woah,” muttered he accidentally opened one of the fridges instead of a freezer, “There’s so much food in here…”

“And do you think they’ll serve us any of that food? Probably not, -- Not until it goes bad or something,” she glanced over at Mason as he searched a plentiful fridge as she continued digging through the freezer. Once she found a bag of ice, she pulled out a few pieces, and wrapped them around a paper towel. “There, that should do it,” she said, placing it to her head as she winced in pain.

Never for a moment Isabelle considered her addiction as a problem worth to be in that asylum. Perhaps she should’ve been assigned to a therapist to expose her personal conflicts, work on her issues and find the source - consequently the solution - to the bitterness that rotted her soul, yet still not enough to be in the sanatorium. The proof was her roommate’s disorder. It seemed worthier of attention than her dependence on drugs and alcohol - amongst other things. Upon noticing how coy the brunette suddenly seemed, Isabelle stood from her bed, crossed the space between their mattresses and sat on the edge of the girl’s bed. She reached for her hand, holding it lightly, trying to offer her confidence and comfort. “I’d use that to my benefit and party real hard,” she joked, a light intonation in her voice, matching her smile, to show she wasn’t being serious. Belle’s goal was merely to lighten the air.

Watching the woman stand, she remained on the same spot, giving her personal space. “I couldn’t tell, never heard her play or sing anything. Next time she’s around, though, I’ll introduce you two. Then you call me to be the judge.” Laughing lightly, she picked on the girl’s obvious natural call for competition. “I’m Belle, by the way.” The blonde flashed her a warmer smile, crossing her legs in the girl’s bed.

It was instantly that Abigail realized just how different the two women were. Was it not only their reasons for being in EIchen, but they also expressed themselves far different. There was always a light mood when it came to Isabelle, a heavier one clouding over Abigail. “Are you implying that I use not sleeping to my advantage?” she looked at her particularly odd as she wasn’t sure that was what she was trying to get across. It was rather uncomfortable as the other had touched her hand, only for the sole reason that she had just met her and strangers never really had been her strong suit.  However, Abigail felt more comfort within her new roommate as a proper introduction was given from the other. “I’ll be sure to call to you if I ever need you to be the judge of any singing competition.” Coming from a special circumstance, there was definitely a hope the other wasn’t after a Broadway title. Even then, -- What if the other patient was a much better singer than her? Tossing the unwanted thoughts from her mind she smiled and added to her words, “And, I’m Abigail. Regarding circumstances, it’s nice to meet you, Belle.”

Delilah turned to look at the flowers her sister was pointing at and she smiled, “they’re really pretty.” She moved to stand so she was ready to go to the garden. “Do you remember when we were little and I wanted to plant my fruit seeds so that I could grow flowers that tasted like fruit?”

Abigail laughed softly at the memory, closing her bedroom door behind the two of them as they walked at a decent pace to the garden. “You know, I do remember that actually. And, we didn’t let you think any different at first. I think that was probably a mistake,” she smiled lightly.

“Yeah… I noticed that… and quite a few people told me it,” Mason said with a grin as he walked with her towards the kitchen, “I wonder if one day my birthday or something is gonna go by and I won’t even know it…”

“Unless you’re coutning down on a calender or daily reminders of what day it is, we’ll all probably skip our birthdays.” She said as they finally made it to the kitchen. “And here we are,” she ran her fingers over the bump on her head, “Now, where is that ice?” she spoke softly, beginning to search through the freezer.

“Haven’t you seen the librarian trilogy?” Nicolai teased, “They’re all about an interesting librarian who goes on adventures.”

“Oh definitely. Which bad guys would we go after first?”

“You’ll have to show those to me sometime because I’ve definitely never ever heard of the librarian trilogy,” she paused, gasping as if she remembered something, “Oh wait, you’re the hobbit, aren’t you?” she challenged him back teasingly. “The baddest of the bad, I would say. I think we could handle ‘em.”

“In the hospital? Are you, -- What happened?”

Anna crouched down beside the dog and scratched his back gently, “Actually, I use to live in one and I was a patient for a little while. My mother was mentally ill and raising me on her own. But there was an episode and she was given the option to go to a facility where she could get better while raising me in a safe enviornment, or I could be taken away. So she went to the facility. I got Moonpie a couple weeks after I’d been formally discharged as a patient because my therapist at the time thought that a companion like Moonpie would be good for me.”

Abigail listened to what the other had to say, surprised by her words, “Are you serious? That’s, -- I can’t believe that’s a thing. Did you have an illness before you were admitted though? Because, that changes things like, if you were in there normal and then all of a sudden you were ill, you know?”
