To fix BBC‘s Merlin you just have to make Merlin a pacifist or adopt a no-kill rule and have Morgana keep killing and stepping over corpses to achieve her goals.

#fee rambles #and there you have your conflict. fixed it for you #not just the fucking dragon going 'bro shes evil trust' and Merlin going 'okie'#now it’s a question about morality and it makes more sense for Merlin to distrust her and keep his secret from her :)#like maybe actually write Morgana doing dubious things and show us how Merlin disagrees with her methods #make him distrust her first on his own and then make the dragon say whatever #Merlin is supposed to be the good guy he should still believe in the good in people #he can be suspicious about Morgana and maybe not trust her 100% but still believe he can steer her towards goodness #the whole morality aspect would also make an interesting point of conflict between Arthur and Merlin #maybe Arthur could actually undergo some character development as a treat #JUST MAKE HIM A PACIFIST #why is he allowed to blow people up with magic and every other magic user isn’t #sorry for this I just read an amazing post talking about the parallels between Smallville and Merlin and it kickstarted…this #ok rant over #edit: there are so many grammar mistakes in these tags sorryy im tired
