This Obsession

This blog and currently my life is all about Austins, there is something about them that I just love, and I can't quite put my finger on it. It may be their gorgeous looks, their reliability, I just don't know. Personally I own a limited edition 1986 Austin Mini Chelsea and it is currently being restored to its original condition (and beyond), slowly but surely.This thing about old Austin mini's (and other classics) has gone from being a love affair to an addiction and now it is a way of life, one which I love. Everything has to be perfect, down to the pedals and door handles,the carpet to the fascia and even the registration plate. It's getting slightly worrying actually, pulling an extra 15 hours a week at work now just to try and fund it, i'm also selling my moped, all in order for a nice fresh respray, not for drink, like the rest of my generation, but for a car, a peace of art, a thing of magnitude, elegance and class, an old Austin Mini.

Anyway I'm tired, so peace out.
