Why Not Y, is a quite unknown group, but it's a group you should look out for. Their first EP (The Why Not Y EP) was released on August 27th this year. The group has three members: Kelly Kessell, who's the singer and writer in the group. Pio Molina, violinist, producer, recording and mixing engineer in the group. Ryan Raines, he's the drummer, keyboardist, producer, recording and mixing engineer in the group.

You don'y hear a sound like theirs everyday, which is why they caught my eye (ears)! It's new, catchy, pop-ish but with a bit of indie in the mix.

Kelly Kessell has a lovely voice, and her songwriting skills isn't bad at all. With an EP like theirs to start out with, is in my eyes a strong start, and I'm really looking forward to seeing more to this group. And hopefully, they'll get the recognition they deserve.
