got next week's haul of apples too since the farmers market will be closed next weekend!

very unsettled weekend tbh, feeling a bit unproductive and anxious about being unproductive now that things are winding down unfortunately. it's crazy bc i've been looking forward to things winding down for MONTHS and now that they are, im feeling uncomfortable with myself. and i dont love that. i am *also* getting stressed about all the stuff i have to buy for the apartment (say, a bedside stand or a rug perhaps).

however! going outside has helped me feel better, having nice interactions at the art store and the cafe made me feel better, going to the farmers market made me feel better, and cleaning the apartment has made me feel better. hoping that i settle into myself a bit more this coming week, since it's been a while 🍎🍏

woke up *wanting* to have a peaceful, quiet morning, but found myself automatically and seemingly unstoppably going to youtube…decided to say fuck it we’re gonna try to get shit done asap today anyways bc if im gonna be in a rotty mood, i might as well rot when everything is done.

threw my laundry in early (learned from last weekend’s debacle where one of my neighbors left their laundry in the washing machine for 6 hours—i hate taking out other people’s laundry) and got my morning started. after throwing my stuff in the dryer, i made my way over to the farmers market and son of a bitch it worked. feeling much better and i got all my sunday house chores done and done! 🍎

so sorry i forgot to post my haul again last week, but trust it was a delicious pile of apples. this year, ive found myself picking up a pastry and a cup of coffee as a little treat every sunday, which has been a major boost to my sunday blues. hoping to be more consistent starting this week! 🍎

welcome back!! the farmers market is officially back and the weather was LOVELY 🌞 there were some new vendors, and overall i have a great outlook for how this year’s market will go. i splurged a little and got some treats, including this mixer that tastes so freaking yummy i can’t wait to make a marg with it 🍎🍯🥒🍹🍓

there were barely any stands today, and next week is the official last day of the market. i bought this basket of apples from a really nice guy, and it was one of the last of his inventory. i was hoping to catch the beekeeper one last time, but i guess i’ll see everybody next year! 🍎

farmer’s market classic haul + pear + first week of december treat + i had some more room in my grocery budget treat: 11/30/2025 ✨💫

flew back home yesterday, and took a teaching certification test this morning- was pessimistic that i’d have the motivation to go grocery shopping (and the farmers market? forget it), but I scored better than i thought i would and told myself i’d feel even better if i did everything i was unmotivated to do. started to lightly sleet on the walk, but luckily it didn’t make the whole grocery trip impossible.

however, idk if it was bc of the weather or the time, but my usual apple vendor was packed up and GONE 🙂 tried a new vendor today and their apples lowkey look really nice but we shall see this week if they’re better than my usual spot! (chocottone is from my grocery store, not the farmers market) 🍎🍐🍿🍰

sleepy week has spread into sleepy sunday, thankfully it’s a holiday week. I only grabbed a few apples since I’m flying back home for the thanksgiving break on wednesday, and spent the rest of honey (ran out) and crab (will be posting updates on my food blog @theresalwaysabettercheese)!

farmer’s market classic haul + a treat: 11/16/2025 ✨💫

so fucking windy today jfc. stepped outside and had a lovely feeling when i saw all the fall leaves; while walking to the grocery store i lost my red sox cap behind a triple-locked church gate and now im in mourning :/ we had HISTORY man. rest of the grocery run was overstimulating af where my hair kept whipping around, music kept pausing, and groceries just felt so HEAVY 😐 gonna take it easy for the rest of the day bc this was such an ordeal

however! i bought a pomegranate at my grocery store so this promises a win later today when i eat it. i love the fall, and i love windy days, but only when im inside 🍎

woke up not feeling the best, a bit hollow and a bit down but going outside defo helped. i didn’t do my a usual grocery shopping yesterday, so i went to two markets today. also- severely overestimated how much fruit we’d eat last week, so today’s is a smaller batch of fruit than usual. these pears are so good tho so I bought some more. i’m obsessed with how pretty this apple is🍐🍎
