I wanted to sing one of my favorite songs by Bright Eyes. This is the instrumental cover I sang over. Obviously the only thing I own of this is my voice.

Since I’m a full time college student, this is about as much as I can do in about a month’s time. Again, this will depend on how complicated the images are and how much time I’ll have to dedicate to them.

I also ask for patience if it takes me slightly longer to complete your commission than originally planned because life does like to get in the way.

"Would you change who you are if you could?"

Lua hadn’t seen Abram in quite some time, but it was nice to be around a human who knew her before the illusion. She had run into him while walking through the paths of Elwynn and, of course, instantly invited him to hang out with her for a bit. To catch up.. At least, for a little while.

As they sat around the fire and chatted, Lua pulled out the choker wrapped in a cloth to show to him. “Oh.. And also, look what I got!” She opened up the cloth to reveal the necklace, the purple jewel glittering in the fire. “It’s an illusionary necklace.. Watch!” As soon as her fingers touched the necklace, her long ears disappeared and her bright, green eyes turned hazel. “I’ve always wanted to be a human.. Hah.”

“Would you change who you are if you could?”

The question made her blink once in surprise, her eyes going down to look at the necklace. “Um..” She hesitated for a long moment, before her lips turned downward into a frown. “Honestly..? I think so.” She admitted, looking a bit disappointed with herself. “I never felt like I belonged as an elf.. You know? Not tall enough, not pretty enough, not.. I dunno, blonde enough.” She let out a single, humourless chuckle. “But.. As a human, humans have imperfections everywhere! They come in all sizes.. All shapes. To humans, I actually look.. Normal.” She glanced up to Abram, a tiny, yet sad smile on her face. “I wish I could be happy with myself, but.. I’m just not. Maybe one day, though..”

“Oh.” Lua poked her bottom lip out slightly. Well, she definitely didn’t think of that! “Well, fair enough.” She snickered a bit, then shrugged a shoulder. “He’s a bard too? Well, now I see where you get all your talent from! Although, going from a bard to a doctor is a pretty big leap.. Still cool, though.”

The artist blinked once. “Wow. Down to his waist?! That’s crazy! My hair could never get that long. Hah.” She went back to twirling her hair around her finger idly. Her green eyes wandered around the area as they spoke, a soft hum leaving her lips. “I worked pretty hard to get it this way..! It’s pretty hard to get it all symmetrical. Luckily, I have a real steady hand.” She looked up to him, smiling sweetly. “Guess all that painting really paid off. Hah!” Her eyes wandered to where his gun normally was, a curious look on her face. “Can you do any cool tricks with your gun? You’re like.. A gunslinger, right?”

Abram cants his head from side to side and folds his arms over his chest. “Just the way a’ life, eh? Can’t help what my parents done, but I can live with it.” He shrugs and shifts to hold his arms behind his back in more of a friendly and open stance. “He’s still a bard, just in a different sense of it. We don’t all do our bardin’ with songs an’ instruments. He’s more like a Priest than anythin’. Works as a surgeon an’ spreads word a’ the Light, all that stuff.”

He gestures to Lua and then up to his own hair. “Might let ya’ color up my hair sometime. I like to stand out in a crowd, an’ look real snazzy while I do it. Seem like a real trustworthy person to me.” He smiles brightly and nods as he reaches up to play with some of the charms in his hair. “Plan on growin’ mine down ‘till I can’t grow no more. Never know how things go, though, eh?” Abram nods and pulls his duster aside to show the revolver holstered in his gun belt; the handle facing outwards rather than towards him. “I learned some real nice tricks with it durin’ my time. I might be able to show you a few of ‘em sometime, if ya’ want.”

Lua nodded thoughtfully, listening carefully as he spoke. “Ooooh, I used to know a guy like that! I get it. That’s pretty cool, though..!” She clasped her hands behind her back, folding in her lips for a moment. “Do you still talk to him and stuff..?”

The moment he mentioned colouring his hair, her whole face lit up. “What!? You’d let me do that!?” She let out a gasp, a hand going over her lips to shield her wide open mouth. She stopped walking for a moment to basically bounce up and down with excitement. “That would be amazing..! We could both have crazy coloured hair.. Ah! Please let me do that! You’d look soooo handsome with, like, a real dark blue.” She nodded once, her tone very matter-of-fact. “Also, I’d love for you to show me..! I don’t normally like guns, but.. If you do cool tricks with them, then it can’t be so bad!”

Abram lifts one hand to cover his mouth as he fights back more laughter at her inquiry, but instead he just gives a little shake of his head in reply. “No, I, uh...I ain’t ever met my pa’. He was from Alterac, so he fled to Stormwind after all the trouble started up there. All I know about him is hear-say from my ma’.”

He chuckles heartily and offers up a nod. “I believe in givin’ everythin’ a try at least once. Don’t know many other folk I’d trust to do that. I’ll mull it all over, how I’d look in a different color an’ all.” He offers up a smile at her happiness and enthusiasm before reaching up to quickly dust his hat. “Ain’t sure blue’d be my color, but ya’ never know. Ain’t a hair specialist er nothin’.” He gives her a gentle little pat on the shoulder once she stops bouncing. “I take to guns a lot better’n knives an’ the like. Got a big knife in my boot, though, fer tool uses an’ all. Can ramble through my duster fer some bullets, if you wanna see somethin’ simple.”

Abram is heterosexual. He can, however, appreciate another person’s looks despite sexuality. He’s openly willing to admit when a man or woman looks good, and sometimes he does so just to make people smile.

Abram tends to go with the flow of whatever is happening in his life at any given point in time. He pursues people that he feels an attraction to, and is by nature polyamorous. Him entering into a polyamorous relationship, however, is a coin flip in itself. He isn’t keen on any form of actual relationships.

Abram neither wants children nor does he think he’ll ever want children. He tends to be a very adventurous and unconfined; believing that a child would only hinder his adventures and hold him back.

Abram has never fallen in love, and I highly doubt that he ever will, but you never know. He does show his affection and care for others, however, through little actions. A kiss, a hug, a song, etc.
