"A child is their parent's weak spot"
Papa bear making sure no one disturbs his cub's nap time!
That one ZZZ gif with the op males has been haunting me these days so I had to do something about it
Don't mind me, just thinking about Dragon cradling Baby Luffy, getting PTSD from God Valley and losing the twins, then holding Luffy ...just a little tighter.
Young Garp randomly appearing behind Teen Dragon, picking him up over his shoulder and carrying him around like a potato sack because he got bored and missed his son.
When your baby is holding babies and it triggers cuteness overload
Luffy: *looking at his present and then at Dragon* Dad, did Santa forget to bring yours?
Dragon: No, I always ask for the same thing every year and get it
Luffy: Really? And what is it?
Dragon: Your happiness
I had time to grab a pencil... it's been so long it felt wrong

I am really curious to see what the Revolutionary Army can bring to the table when it comes to hunting for the One Piece, because up until this point they've not actually had any real reason to go after it. As far as anyone knew the One Piece was just some big treasure trove Roger left behind, bragging rights, something for pirates to endlessly chase after and fight over, it was never really their concern, they always had their own problems going on which is why they've never really been too much of a central focus. This really makes me think about what Sabo and Dragon are going to do in the long run.
Ace wanted the One Piece because he wanted Whitebeard to be King of the Pirates, even though that ran counter to Luffy wanting the same thing, and I think if it came down to it that they would have fought over it. I don't think that fight would have had any angst or tragedy in it, I think they both would have a lot of fun with it in a "Give me your best shot" kind of way. If Ace lost, while he would have been disappointed in himself for not being able to help Whitebeard, he still would have been happy in proud in Luffy.
But Sabo and Dragon? And now? The One Piece isn't just a thing they don't have to care about anymore, it's important, taking it decides who will determine the future of the world, and I wonder how, when the stakes are that high, will affect them in regards to Luffy? With Sabo, while he does genuinely believe in the RA's cause, but at the same time I can see him being torn because a part of him would think that maybe Luffy getting the One Piece would be the best thing. Either way he would be conflicted on it. Then there is Dragon, who despite caring for Luffy was never there for him, he was always absent, Luffy doesn't even seen to have any strong opinion on Dragon one way or another, so when it comes down to it, when push comes to shove, what will Dragon do?
This is very interesting and is something I've been wondering about for a long time, even before the One Piece was revealed to be something so important. What if Dragon's goal clashes with his son's? How would he act? I think it would be a very strong conflict between the two and it would add more family drama.
From Luffy's side, he still has to meet Dragon to truly know him and have his own view/opinion on him. On the other side, Dragon loves Luffy, or at least cares for him deeply, so it would probably be a "Garp in Marineford" situation, your goal you have been working, suffering and making sacrifices to achieve for a greater good (literally all his life) or your son you own everything?

We all talk about Dragon being a softie for his son or a total goof inside. But I present you an idea, "yandere/obsessive dad"
I need an example
