Danganronpa x Tobu Zoo collab

At long last: You can mix visiting a real-life bear with visiting Monokuma.

Amnibus revealed that Miyashiro, Japan's Tobu Zoo is doing a Danganronpa collaboration starting 7/4/2026 through 9/27/2026.

In addition to character standees and decorations throughout the zoo, there will also be the usual merch on sale. The great news is that the collab goods will sold not only at the zoo itself but also at the Amnibus & Animate online shop during the window of opportunity.

The collab will feature merchandise partnering various DR characters with zoo animals, including:

Danganronpa 2/Zozotown Collab merch up for pre-order

It won't be out until this coming November 2026, but the merch from the new Danganronpa 2/Zozotown collaboration is up for pre-order right now.

The online store is Japan-only, so you'll likely need to use a service like Buyee if you want to grab any of these for yourself (i.e., get them shipped to any non-Japan nation).

...and much of the clothes the characters are shown wearing in the artwork are ALSO up for sale.

But NOW I'm going to just drop some random reactions:

I don't legitimately believe Chiaki or Mikan would ever put themselves into those clothes. Both because I don't think Mikan is going to dress in such a style, and ALSO because I don't think Chiaki is remotely concerned with being so stylish. :P I have to assume their friends put them up to wearing those outfits.

Nagito appears to be intentionally dressing and posing like he's a villain, which is something I do believe he would do for kicks.

Kazuichi, my dude: it's bad enough how hard you simp for Sonia, but for you to start hanging a plushie of your crush off of your belt? GROSS.
