Hello! My name is Jeremy (she/her) and this is scaneverything, a blog dedicated to digitizing and sharing scans of paper items.
There'll be more info below the cut, but for now here's some quick bullet points:
Most scans are of merchandise from video games and anime. You might also see postcards, packaging, flyers, and other various items.
Every single item is from my own personal collection, so most of the time I will not have full sets of items or specific characters. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Reposts, edits, fanart, etc. is allowed - credit for the scan itself is highly appreciated but ultimately not required!
If you like a scan, I encourage you to reblog or save it!
The scanner I use is an Epson Perfection V39 II, a birthday gift from my wonderful sister.
Non-text posts are almost always scheduled in advance. Posting may stop randomly, please be patient with me if it does.

↳ Can you tell us more about yourself?
Sure! Hey again, I'm Jeremy, a shopping addict archivist wannabe merch collector. :) I run this blog, scan, and edit everything by myself. I enjoy organization, collecting PDFs of fandom zines, mail-swapping, and drawing. It's a bit obvious from the scans I've already posted, but I really like Danganronpa, Persona, Sonic, and Doki Doki Literature Club. My favorite games from each franchise are Trigger Happy Havoc, Persona 4, Shadow the Hedgehog 2005, and Doki Doki Literature Club.
↳ Why'd you start this blog?
3 main reasons:
I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy the art that comes on exclusive (Japan collab) items. It already sucks that most of us will never own the merch we want, so it's just salt in the wound that the high-res art made for such collaborations are never released.
My sister bought me a scanner for my 23rd birthday and I quickly got addicted to digitizing anything I could get my hands on. It seems like a waste to keep it to myself!
I was subconsciously inspired by VideoGameArt&Tidbits on Twitter. He has a GLORIOUS collection and I could only dream to share as much as he has.

Fortunately and unfortunately, I'm only one person. Scanning is pretty easy, it's the editing that takes long! Sometimes I'm motivated, sometimes I'd rather do literally anything else.
↳ Why edit anything? Just post the raw scan and call it a day.
That's a genius idea! But it would require me to not be a perfectionist. ,':-) Lots of times an item is tilted/warped or there's little pieces of dust, hair, etc. on the scanner glass. Imagine if someone zoomed in on that specific pixel!? The thought alone keeps me up at night!
I want everything to look the best it possibly can while still staying true to either what the item looks like in real life (or in the case of damaged items, what it's supposed to look like).

↳ Will you ever branch off of Tumblr?
I really want to! I love Tumblr but the porn ban (I have a couple NSFW items) and image size constrictions are irritating. I tried making an account on Twitter and bluesky but I couldn't really keep up with either. I also want to make an Internet Archive account but their terms of service confuse me - they don't allow copyrighted material but everyone uploads it anyway...? Maybe neocities is the way.
↳ Would you ever accept help with running your blog/editing scans?
I really. Want to. But this blog is very near and dear to my heart and it makes me nervous entrusting someone else with it. If I ever decide to give this hobby up I'll make a zip bomb (lol) containing all remaining scans so that maybe someone else can pick up where I left off.
↳ Do you have a favorite scan? Scans?
Yeah, a couple! This drawstring bag scan of Morgana and Koromaru, the Chishimondo stick poster, Ayumi Mizukoshi's SDR2 Stage bromide, and these Monthly Shonen Sunday bromides.
...Not gonna lie, I'm actually quite bummed that nobody else seems to care about the Teasing Master Takagi-san stuff! :(

I got real lucky with the lineup of this scan! It's rare for me to not feel the need to rotate it. :)
Learning how/preparing to use a Chinese proxy buying service for the first time, wish me luck. 🫠 It seems promising but is a bit more complicated than what I'm used to (Neokyo)...
I hope it works out because the alternative is buying less postcards for a higher price! Ugh. Country exclusive merchandise will be the death of me.
