(110k, E) - follows professional ballet dancer megumi as he meets physical therapy student yuuji in his absolute beginner ballet class. the ideas of toxic perfectionism, learning you’re good enough standing still, & taking things one step at a time were all close to my heart when writing this. but just like in real life, there’s room for joy & fluff & silliness in & amongst all the lessons to be learned. very true to the hurt/comfort tag. there’s laughter, there’s tears, there’s love, there’s loss, but i promise that anything broken gets put back together in the end.

something worth protecting (WIP, G) - while on their first solo mission, yuuji’s students find a five year old girl whose parents are nowhere to be found. who better to take care of her than yuuji & megumi? established/married teachers!itafushi meets accidental child acquisition.
a brother of yours is a brother of mine (23k, T) - yuuji decides to get genetic testing done to see if he has any biological siblings. due to a mishap at the clinic, he spends a week thinking his brother is todo, when in reality his older brother is chose. some of the truest crack i've probably ever written, but just like yuuji it's got a big heart.

what's for dinner? (8.3k, T) - megumi's next door neighbor is an annoyingly good cook. megumi decides to break into his apartment about it. what follows is some truly insane levels of obliviousness from megumi and so much shameless flirting from yuuji.
can't get your name outta my mouth (18.2k, E) - what starts as megumi accidentally walking in on yuuji while he's masturbating turns into yuuji learning a lot about himself. namely, that he has a crush on his best friend. a lot of flirting, a lot of sexual tension, a lot of yearning, a lot of smut.
i'll take the long way (4.1k, T) - a scene that takes place in a liminal space right before yuuji swallows sukuna's finger to save megumi, where he gets a chance to talk to his older self about if that's a choice he truly wants to make. the result of a 24 hour fever dream where cycles, autonomy, and a lack of free will were heavy on my mind.
somewhere down the line (i’ll keep this promise of mine) (12.9k, G) - a continuation of will you bless this union. after the showdown in shinjuku, with gojo’s blessing for their union secured, yuuji has a promise to keep. the kind of love & devotion & care you feel from the soles of your feet to the crown of your head.
to making it count (35k, M) - a retelling of titanic (1997) with megumi as rose and yuuji as jack. we get to watch megumi discover what life feels like once you realize that it's worth living and how to keep going forward in the face of tragedy. the heartbeat of an epic poem and the softness of a dream.
now connected to: fushiguro megumi's headphones (8.8k, T) - yuuji accidentally connects to megumi's headphones while trying to watch a youtube video on how to talk to your first gay crush. megumi finds out because he is using said headphones when this happens and proceeds to go to hell and back trying to figure out who yuuji's gay crush is. insane levels of obliviousness mixed with some really poignant yearning.
what if i want to kiss you back? (6.6k, G) - while taking care of a sick yuuji, megumi checks his fever in the only way he knows how. by kissing him on the forehead. over and over and over again. but once yuuji stops feeling sick, megumi doesn't stop kissing him. if anything he's kissing him more now. which (if you ask yuuji) could mean anything. itafushi dumbassery and fluff.
the voice in your head (4.4k, G) - yuuji has never had to deal with negative self talk before sukuna. megumi learns he’s the only one of his friends who has. they both learn that maybe they aren’t as alone as they thought they were. slightly bittersweet with a healthy does of optimism.
is it hot in here or is it just you? (6k, G) - a heatwave hits tokyo and yuuji is not handling it well. the heat's been so bad that he's been passing out nearly every time he's outside for class. definitely not because megumi is wearing a tank top to training. crack treated incredibly seriously.
will you bless this union (somewhere down the line) (3.4k, G) - set just before the showdown in shinjuku, yuuji goes to gojo to secure his blessing to ask megumi to marry him should something happen during the fight and gojo isn't around to give it later. bittersweet but full of love and determination to see everyone come home safe & sound.

currently (re)reading: big magic by elizabeth gilbert. it's one of my fav books of all time and i come back to it whenever i'm in a slump creatively/generally and need to recenter
currently working on: *a small army of crickets begins loudly chirping* yeah, writer's block as been kicking my ass since like february so i don't have much going on right now, despite the overflowing amount of ideas & started wips on my computer. hopefully i'll have a more exciting answer soon
last google search: "can you use dawn power wash to clean the inside of your oven" the answer is yes you can, but you will be scrubbing for a very long time alksdjakls. but the gunk is gone, so my oven doesn't smoke when i turn it on && therefore i'm content 🙂↕️
