Roblox Studio
Hello everyone! Taking a brief break from development on Project A, so I decided to try developing things in Roblox Studios. The layout is so different from unity lmao, im getting confused by it
Project A Progress
So far, thanks to the help of some wonderful youtube tutorials, I've been able to make the player be able to use weapons, get hurt, attack enemies and explore a tilemap environment. There's still some animation bugs to fix but we're getting there!!!

Hello!! This is gonna be the 1st post on my blog!! exciting! :] My game is going to be a top down horror RPG where the player explores a haunted castle with their trusty sword and fights shadow creatures! Storyline to be revealed later as I don't want to unveil too much right away. So far we have a very basic system, with player movement, basic item pickup for a sword and shield (though the shield may later be replaced with a lantern), enemy follow (though there are a few bugs to work out), and some concepts drawn up for the designs. The characters are just going to be represented by basic circles and such as I'm very much struggling to get sprites working and since the demo will be turned in for my Game Design & Development class, I just need a demo even if it looks janky. The game is being made in Unity (yes, ik, boo Unity but its what we’re taught in class) and is in very early development.
So far we have:
Basic player movement
Basic sword/shield pickup (shield may be replaced by lantern in the future)
Basic enemy follow (may need to be fixed)
In production:
1st attack movement (sword slash)
Demo lvl 1
Enemy attack
