Every once in a while I think about this one episode of Ben 10 where Ben and Gwen keep arguing (as always) and they meet those twins that are picture-perfect, disgustingly sweet bffs. It looks like Ben and Gwen will learn to appreciate each other, right? Wrong! When they're in a tough spot the twins don't work together, but Ben and Gwen do - as the viewers should expect by now from all of the other episodes. So the message is not "bE NicEr tO EaCH oThEr" (as one would expect from a children's cartoon), but instead it's about how you can annoy and fight with your siblings/cousins all you want, because what matters is you're there for each other when it's important.

it’s great to see them all together like this <3

the Boys opinion because people are pissing me off
(spoilers)
Committing genocide is not the "realistic", "morally correct" option some people seem to believe it to be, especially after getting rid of Homelander. Killing millions of innocent civilians, including children, for the crime of being experimented on without their consent in the first place is not justified - especially once the immediate threat was eliminated. It. Is. A. Genocide. Never justified.
"Maturing is realising that Homelander's not the villain-" shut the fuck up. Genuinely. Go back to school, read a book with pictures, anything to work on analysing media and accepting nuance. He's a narcissistic, selfish, cowardly shitbag who murders people for disagreeing with him. He's a dictator. A sadist. A supe supremacist. Understanding that his trauma made him who he is doesn't magically absolve him from being an absolute cunt.
GO3 SPOILERS
Supernatural set a precedent that makes my skin crawl when I see a queer couple get sent into nothingness after confessing their feelings
(also remember that Neil Gaiman is a rapist)
GO3 SPOILERS
After billions of years of slow burn... Not only are they only getting a human lifespan of being really together, but they've met well into their adult life, so it's only a few decades. That's nothing compared to the infinity they should've had!
(also remember that Neil Gaiman is a rapist)
We raise our cups to them 🌹
the more things change, the more they stay the same
Potentially a hot take
Lance should've led the team instead of Keith. They're both great, but Keith showed no leadership skills at the time when he first took over for Shiro. In fact, Lance had to hold his hand through it and advise and correct him on everything. Keeping a cool head, long term strategizing, keeping up the morale - all of that Lance proved to be better at than Keith. (And Allura was better than both of them combined)
Has this been done before?
A totally unbiased opinion!
AO3 being born a beta, going through a short omega phase, and finally transcending the concept of secondary gender. What a relatable icon 🏳️⚧️
really good stuff happening in opla s2
Zosan is just Shrek and Fiona.
Sanji locked up... Hm, I wonder by whom... Who could possibly do something like that...
Zoro is green
They fall in love after a lot of yelling because they realise just because they're unconventional both as individuals and as a couple, they don't have to give a shit. And they let their freak flag fly with the rest of the found family.
Cue: "I think I got you beat" from Shrek the musical
