friendly reminder that dark academia is just an aesthetic. you dont need to wear expensive tweed jackets or have perfect grades to endorse the aesthetic. nobodys forcing you to take costly excursions to foreign museums or buy books you may not be interested in.

examples of less expensive dark academia activities include making a warm beverage, writing heartfelt letters to loved ones, composing poetry, lighting candles and listening to classical music. you dont need to have a lot of money to do all of this.

remember that this is just an aesthetic after all and the most important part of living the life of any aesthetic is that you enjoy yourself.
