A Perpetual Spell to Increase Positivity & Luck
This spell is very similar to The Banishing Bin, except it’s purpose is to manifest what is desired, instead of banish what is unwanted.
The manifestation box functions as follows:
write desired wish/outcome/intention on sticky note/paper
draw manifestation sigil over the words
fold up paper and store in manifestation box
burn/rip/recycle them on the waxing crescent or full moon
If you don’t have a manifestation sigil you’re currently working with, you’re welcome to use mine which can be found here.
This is a low spoons spell that is easy to conceal and can be personalized to suit your needs. I’m open about my craft to my family, so I display mine on my favorite altar, but you can just as easily store it in a drawer. You can use anything you like as a box, but I suggest it’s something aesthetically pleasing that you associate manifestation and positivity with. I keep crystals and coins that correspond with luck and happiness inside of mine. You could also decorate both the inside and outside with sigils and magical seals. The possibilities are endless, so make it your own and have fun with it!
You stop attracting certain people when you heal the parts of you that once needed them.

Doing Your Own Research
Or, more appropriately titled: Doing Your Own Research, Without Just Looking Up Someone Else’s Correspondence Lists. Because while those lists are very handy to get started or have a shorthand reference, it gives us memorization, stopping just short of real understanding. What’s more, most correspondence lists won’t have your local (overlooked) plant life, or whatever niche plant, rock, animal you need. Sometimes, you have to get your hands dirty and figure it out from scratch.
Anyway so here’s some stuff you can do to aid in that.
The Science Look into what it physically is. What family does it belong to? If that weird plant growing in your backyard is closely related to say, basil, it will likely have similar properties. Was that crystal formed under heat and pressure, or is it a sedimentary rock? What does this animal do? How does it live and survive? A lot of correspondences come from this level, and it’s the easiest level to research. Physical traits and fun science facts are all welcome here and fair game to use in magic. The Folklore Okay, so we know what the Thing is made of, but let’s look into its relationship with humans. There’s nothing demanding that roses be the Official Love Flower, but rather it’s a collective cultural thing. That has worked itself into magic as well. Are there any stories involving your object of choice? Local superstitions? Home remedies? What does this item get used for in wider culture? For some things, there may not be much here. But for those that do have lore, it’s a valuable resource. The Vibes The actual, spiritual sensations you get from holding or touching the Thing. (This is going to apply more to rocks and plants… please don’t go out and touch wild animals.) This will give you some better understanding beyond just what it does, but how it does it. Does the energy seem aggressive? Is it fast or slow moving? Does it give you the impression of being related to a certain element? Which brings us into the next…
The Voice If you communicate with stuff or spirits at all, this is for you. Just ask the Thing for yourself! “Hello. I am ____. Tell me, what sort of things would you be able to help me with?” Prepare an interview, maybe. This will likely be more specific than “love” or “cleansing,” because they’re giving you a pitch and will know themselves very well. It may be “I help someone realize romantic feelings they already have but don’t know about,” or “I help other cleansing items so that cleansed spaces stay cleaner for longer, but I don’t work by myself.” If you get an answer, record it!
Experiment Use the Thing! If you have a general idea of what it does, throw it into the mix for your next relevant spell and see how it changes the result. You can read a lot about something, but the research doesn’t stop when you start using it! As you discover things through repeated use, make note of that as well!
Happy researching!
Bed magick (for my spoonie witches):
The setup: 🌟-Sigils placed under your mattress for pain-free rest and anything else you need! 🌟-Place crystals under your pillow (or in the case) for restful sleep or a specific use. I often place amethyst and Quartz under my pillow for headaches! 🌟-Hang herb sachets above your bed. 🌟-Keep any supplies you want nearby in case you become bedridden.
Bedridden witchy things: 🌸-Play with spare bits of energy in the room. 🌸-Listen to music that makes you feel witchy/powerful. 🌸-Wash your face with a pre-prepared cleansing spray (add herbs and such). 🌸-If possible, open a window for at least five minutes and soak in the sensations of the outside world. 🌸-Read a witchy book/write in your grimoire. 🌸-Hold your crystals or keep them near you. 🌸-Washing your sheets/blankets/pillow case = the ultimate cleanse. 🌸-Meditate and work on breathing. 🌸-Spend some time with your tarot cards or pendulum (you don’t have to use them though!). 🌸-Do some dream magick. 🌸-Drink some herbal tea.
Remember, your witchiness isn’t based on your ability to practice all the time. It’s perfectly acceptable to take as long as you need when you aren’t feeling great.
(This is okay for everyone to reblog and use btw.)

The Last Unicorn Aesthetic
“I have been mortal, and some part of me is mortal yet. I am full of tears and hunger and the fear of death, although I cannot weep, and I want nothing, and I cannot die. I am not like the others now, for no unicorn was ever born who could regret, but I do. I regret.”

Equalizing Rain Spell
This is a spell to do on a rainy day! Literally! It’s meant to help cleanse your house/yourself/a rain-friendly object. Have fun, witches!
What you’ll need:
A Rainy Day (this spell can be modified so that you can use rain water on any day)
Clear Quartz
Lavender Incense
Enough Salt to Cleanse Your Desired Object
Begin by lighting your incense. This particular scent is meant to help calm your surroundings, and neutralize any energy your object of interest is holding. Waft the smoke towards the object, and say:
“Smoke around me Like rain abounding, Equalize this gift, Make your current swift.”
Place your clear quartz on top or near the object to clear away the old.
Sprinkle the salt over it and say:
“Ground your energy here, Send it all to be cleared.”
Let rain water clean away the old energy of the object, and say this chant as you walk back inside:
“Rain and water, A natural blotter, And the spell is done.”
Prophetic Dream Spell
This was actually an accident, and I’m pretty sure it’s because I used Mugwort (can I get a huzzah for discovering spells by accident?!). Combining Mugwort with the other three ingredients listed is basically asking for visions. Anyway, I wanted to cast a very simple little spell before bed, hoping that it would induce a deep, restful sleep, but not only did I get an deep, uninterrupted sleep, I also ended up receiving prophetic visions that came to fruition the next day (once again, because my sleepy butt added Mugwort).
Here’s what you’ll need (all herbs were dried):
Hibiscus flowers
Lavender
Mugwort
Sage
A small dish or bowl
A red candle with Ansuz carved into it (because I work with Odin, but if you’re not a religious witch or you use a different pantheon, you can substitute Ansuz for whatever fits your liking).
Take a few pinches of each of the ingredients and add them to the bowl. Place the bowl on your window sill next to the lit candle, and crack the window open, so the night’s fresh air and energy can enter in. Close your eyes, feel your energy, and say the following three times (I always speak my ingredients):
“Hibiscus, Lavender, Mugwort, Sage
Take away all the day’s rage
Wanted dreams and wanted sleep
The night’s rewards shall I reap.”
Keep your intentions in mind as you speak, remembering to focus on building and moving your energy (and if you bring a deity into the mix, keep your deity in mind as well). Once you’re done, blow out the candle, give thanks, and you’re good to go! (I always leave my window cracked open when I have a spell sitting on it over night, but only do so if you live in an area where it’s safe to leave your windows open overnight).
*Remember, you can always tinker with the ingredients or the words or whatever you want! Magic isn’t something that’s set in stone, and it works differently for every person. If you feel better adjusting something to do it differently, by all means, do so! :)
**Also, for those who are curious, the vision I received was of me parking in my normal lot on campus, only to get a parking ticket, then becoming very frustrated because I shouldn’t have gotten the ticket. The next day, I parked in my normal spot, and lo-and-behold, got out of class to find a ticket on my windshield (I should not get tickets, because I paid for a parking pass for the entire quarter). I was understandably irritated, so I logged onto my student parking account, only to find that the system had glitched and kicked my car off the pass earlier that morning.
Very simple wake up spell
This is an extremely easy spell that works about 19/20 times (for me) even without an alarm clock. It’s also good for absolute beginner witches!
Things you need: -your mind
1. Right before going to sleep, when you already lie in bed, think of the time you want to wake up. 2. Now, in you mind’s eye, visually form the time so that you “look” at it as if you’d be looking at a digital watch. 3. Hold that picture and focus on it while doing the next step. 4. Say (I prefer doing it in my mind because otherwise it just doesn’t work well for me, but if it’s more effective/easier for you to say it out loud, do that!) that you’ll wake up to that time, preferably with confidence. You can do it however you think is good, but here’s how I say it:
“I will wake up refreshed and with ease at 05:30am.”
5. Repeat as many times as you think is necessary. I personally do it until I know it’s enough.
Notes: -Do this right before starting to fall asleep. -HAVE CONFIDENCE IN WHAT YOU’RE DOING. You don’t have any helping materials like herbs or incense or so, so the stronger your will the more likely it is to work. -Do NOT take the spell waking you up for granted! I’ve done it and I overslept my first period that day.
I’ve been doing this spell for years before I got into witchcraft and it almost never fails to wake me up!

Quick Morning Magick
Here are some quick magickal techniques you can use first thing in the morning to help make your day go a little easier!
Morning Shower Meditation - use the element of water to cleanse yourself of any lingering negativity from the previous day. Use herbal soaps, herbal bags for aromatherapy, oils, or other means to help you focus on your intent to wash away negative energy down the drain.
Light some incense - I do this on most mornings to set a tone for how I want the day to proceed. Aromas can produce powerful emotions and moods. Here’s a brief list of some of my favorites scents and some of their attributes.
Frankincense and Myrrh - uplifting
Amber - comfort, healing, and happiness
Cinnamon - success and strength
Jasmine - love and wisdom
Pine - grounding
Altar Devotion/Invocations - You can light some candles on your altar and speak some invocations for your deities to guide you throughout the day. I do a Goddess Devotion every morning to ask Her for her strength, vitality, love, and intuition to guide me.
Breakfast - Even your breakfast can be spiritual! You are filling yourself with the nourishment that the Earth has provided you with. Be conscious of what you eat. Try fruits, oatmeal, grits, milk, juices, meats, and breads to start your morning by showing your gratitude to all that is.
Glass of Water - Having a glass of water in the morning can be used to cleanse the body, just like the shower. You can even do an herbal tea blend to incite a mood just as the incense does.
Yoga and Exercise - This can also be a form of meditation in the morning.
Dream Journals - You can keep a dream journal by your bed so you can record your dreams in the morning when you first wake up. Writing can also be considered a form of meditation and getting into a routine can become your personal ritual.
Greet the Sun - Going for a walk outside or just watching the sunrise can be a very powerful ritual. The Sun lends us its strength, passion, and love as we go about our busy day. Greet the sun and ask it for guidance.
