My almost certainly inaccurate Grogu Rescue Squad prediction

Cara and Greef jump aboard with Din, Boba and Fennec because did you see that mama bear look Cara had as soon as she heard “They have the kid”?

They all bust Mayfeld out of prison.

Din calls up Bo-Katan and says “Want that Darksaber back? Come with us.”

Bo-Katan Ahsoka because Grogu will need someone who can connect with him through the Force after all this.

Ahsoka calls up Rex and says “Hey, I know you’re older than dirt, but the galaxy’s going to hell again” and Rex saddles up because he’ll do anything for his little sis.

The merry band of outlaws and outcasts spring Grogu from the Empire’s clutches and various things go horribly wrong in the process. Pershing becomes part of the rescue because he never wanted in on this experiment in the first place. During this mayhem Boba and Rex find time for super awkward yet profound brotherly bonding. Din runs Gideon through with the beskar spear.  Bo-Katan gets the Darksaber.

At the end of it all Din wants to do is take his little green kid and go home but then he remembers his home got blown up so he’s stuck on the Slave I until next season.
