Hello followers!
Due to lack of submissions we can't really post anything. Guys it doesn't have to be a review. You could just submit some super awesome roleplayer who needs credit for their awesome-ness. We're all up for praising someone. Or even roleplaying tips. Just submit something guys it would be very appreciated. c: ~Dawn
Not having submissions is boring! If you want, you can review my account! I'm always up for help. 'Carmen Hernandez Carriedo'. :)
Beginning with looks and personality:
The looks section is very detailed and she does sound like a Spainard. The strong jaw point would probably be seen in a nation like Spain.
Personality wise, she sounds very strict and sometimes a little cruel but a little contradicting when it comes to her not liking work at all.
Interests and Fears:
Dancing is very popular in Spain so that is a good point. Singing and guitar are also good things to include. The bit about how she likes to play with children makes her seem like she's tough on the outside but warm and caring on the inside.
The bit about her being superstitous is nice to include. The fear of looking bad is a little iffy but I suppose most girls do try their best to look nice. She is, after all, human.
Goals/Dreams:
Spain would kind of be an enemy with England because of their history with exploration but she might also be a little bit of an enemy with America considering that she would have not have respected his boundaries when he first became a country and after all, he does have the land she used to control.
Spirituality/Sexuality:
There is alot of information about smut here. I could see her not truly trusting men since her history was quite conflicted. I suggest toning down a little bit on her being a whore as much. But that's all I could really say here. Otherwise the information is okay.
Spain is mainly a catholic country so she would be catholic as well to fit it. I can see that she doesn't follow her religion that much but most people don't and she is, like I mentioned earlier, a human not a robot.
Nations and Relations:
Carmen wouldn't really hate most of the countries, considering that Spain is a carefree country. But originality is okay here. She wouldn't so much as loathe England now because it was after all in the past. France and Prussia would be her best friends, true.
The part about England and the child sounds a little sadistic to me but if that's your view, it's your right to view it like that.
Overall the bio is very detailed and she is your creation. This is my first review so can my other admin-bros give me second reviews please? If I have any wrong information here please correct me.

Submissions
Guys we need submissions. We haven't had one in over a week. ~Dawn
Sincerely Sorry On My Part
I've been inscribe for a long time because of our Internet. The internet's been shut off at my house and I rarely ever go any where with wifi. This is this first time in about a week or so. Another reason I've been off is because of school work. It's getting really intense as we prepare for the OAA's this spring. Once everything cools and the internet's back, I'll be able to whim doing reviews and helping with the blog. Sorry to the other admins that I can't help much as of right now. I'll try my best to get on more. Once again my sincere apologies. ~SFC
Our Apologies
I'm aware that we are rather inactive and I'm sorry about that. I would like to change that though. So if any of you followers would like a review please do submit. (Remember if it's on another site like Facebook to give us a link.) Or if any of you have a favorite roleplayer you would like us to review. All you have to do is submit. It would be much appreciated. c: ~Dawn
Thank you very much for the review! It's always pleasant to hear other people's opinions on how you role-play a person, of course! I would however, like to note that they are head-canons, and how I see Feliciano as being (I tend not to play him so much as the Hetalia personification as one based on history, such I empathise that?). The Literature and Script part makes perfect sense, and again I can understand character relations. I may add in a note at the top of the section noting (continued)
Always a pleasure! I see where you were coming at with your head canon. I honestly have similar head canons as you. I image Italy to be more serious as well. So I see where your coming at. I'll make sure to get Spade to comment as well on this. ~Dawn
No problem! Now that you've explained I can see where you're coming from - though if there was a note about it being more historically based I missed it. I hope you found the review at lease a bit helpful, since there wasn't much to critique in the first place due to your characterization already being great! -Spade
Advanced Lit Tips
We've decided to compile a list of things to help out people who are new to advanced lit. roleplaying! Now, every roleplayer has different rules and expectations and there are roleplays where the rules may not apply, but this is just a general guide.
Do not reply to, say, 10 paragraphs with only one paragraph. Many of you argue that it is quality over quantity, and while that is true, it's VERY hard to match the quality of a long, detailed post with a brief reply. If you find yourself wondering what to type, ask yourself some of these questions: What was your character doing beforehand? What are they thinking? What are they feeling? What are they experiencing?
There is no rush for you to come up with a reply within 5 minutes. Give yourself some time to think, to edit, and to do a quick overview to make sure everything's in order.
Proper English is a must. No one's going to bite your head off if your English isn't 100% perfect, but at least capitalize proper nouns, the letter "I" when your character is referring to themselves, don't randomly switch between using quotes and then not using quotes, etc.
Inserting things like emoticons really detracts from your writing. Putting "^.^" or ":D" can be very off-putting. Let the writing itself express the emotions.
Try not to repeat details! If you think you've put down "It was raining" 3 different ways, it's probably time to revise your post.
Move the plot along in your post. Don't just type up 5 paragraphs of babble. If you think the plot isn't moving fast enough or it's at a standstill, ask for a time skip.
Hope this helps a bit! And again, every RPer is different. Some are more lenient, some are more strict, etc but these are the basics!
Hello!
Would you mind reviewing my account? I saw that you were looking for submissions, and thought, why not? It's 'Felice Mynoodleiswet Vargas', and I'm trying to gather all opinions on how to improve my bio, so it really would be helpful.
Hello to you too! :) The first thing I see is that everything is divided up into sections, which is always a big plus since it makes things easier to read!
And for someone so young, I really like how you have a grasp on real world homosexual relationships. It's nothing like the uke/seme dynamic that's often shown in many fandoms (the anime ones especially, for obvious reasons), so for that you get brownie points!
But onto to the crits I have:
◊ I will RP Italy as being fairly serious. I do believe that things he's seen will have had an effect on him.
I am a bit confused by this. Of course, everyone is entitled to characterize their characters as they please, but in canon Italy is hardly serious at all. If you mean you are willing to RP him as serious for certain RPs then that would make sense, but if that's the case you should specify that.
◊ He is second in command of the mafia, after his brother. Admittedly, neither of them actually /do/ anything, but it is quite a large force that they can control.
Again, everyone is entitled to characterize as they wish...but this is VERY odd and OOC. When one thinks of Feli they don't think of the mafia. I think this needs to be expanded on, and to be frank I doubt that a representative of a country would even associate with a crime organization, much less run one, unless it was to gather intelligence on them.
Overall, the characterization is excellent aside from those two nitpicks.
On the preferences/bio itself: A small suggestion is that you should cut down on the Literature or Script? section. We don't need to know your reasoning behind WHY you do or don't want to RP a certain way, and certainly don't need the definitions, just what you're comfortable with. You sound like you think you're walking on eggshells, when really you don't have to worry about offending anyone for not wanting to RP a certain style.
Another thing (which is entirely personal, though others may feel the same), is that writing about relationships with specific RP accounts (the OC child) in the bio can be off-putting. People might assume that since you've taken the time to talk about the OC in detail, you are not interested in any other romantic RPs or they may not want to RP with you in case they feel like they're obligated to interact with the other character in order to fit with your Feli. I've always found that it's best just to either give a sentence or two or skip it altogether, especially when you put that Ludwig is her adoptive father. Any Ludwigs who come along might see that and decide they want no part in a plot they did nothing with, which is fine if you're going for that, but bad if you're looking for new partners. Of course, a lot of people won't even care, so unless you've been having problems finding new partners I probably wouldn't even do anything with it. -Spade
... I wanna submit myself, but... I have a fear of being criticized. I mean, I take criticism sorta well, but I stress myself beyond belief thinking about what people are gonna say...
We would love to critique you, but it's solely up to you if you want to be critiqued or not. I don't want to make it seem like you have to. I understand that you don't want to be bombed saying your character is terrible or something. We try our best at constructive critiques since we know everybody has there good and bad traits around their muse. Everyone can improve in some way, shape, or form. I hoped this helped.
~Dawn
^As Dawn said, it's completely up to you. We try our best to include both the good and the bad in constructive critiques. Even though we will always be honest, we will not do it in any sort of malicious or rude way. c: -Spade
Praise for Alfred SympathyfortheDevil Jones requested by Anon
When I first looked at this Alfred's bio I had no idea where to start. It was quite a big bio.
Even though the admin says that their Alfred is OOC, I honestly think this is a very well thought out and very developed Alfred. It explains the history surrounding Alfred and how he became a demon. Even the terms and conditions on when becoming a demon.
In conclusion this Alfred may have one heck of a bio, but you can tell it's a well thought out.
(My apologies for this being a few days late. c:)
~Dawn
Thank you so much for all the good advice! I'll keep that all in mind, and improve her as much as possible. The idea of this blog is really fantastic.
No problem! And thank you, we hope others like the blog just as much! -Spade
Quick Note Guys!
It would be greatly appreciated if you could send actual links to accounts, especially if it's on a site like Facebook! Depending on what age is put down, the name of an account might not show up in a name search or there might be multiples. -Spade
http://the-contractant.tumblr.com
This is one of my side accounts, and although it's not a nation itself, it's closely related to Hetalia. But still, I'm really insecure about this character, and some good critique would be really welcome.
Judging just from the bio and the contract, you've got a very solid, well thought out idea. I am very impressed and LOVE this whole concept and the way you've executed it.
However, there are some things that could be more thoroughly explained. For example, I'm assuming the character you're roleplaying is the Contractant. But it is not explicitly stated anywhere whether you are playing the Contractant, or the girl named Rose, or if they have combined to form a new person, or if one comes out at a certain time or if one if more dominant.
Another thing is that there isn't much personal info listed anywhere on either personalities. You give a very brief description of Rose of the Contractant. Yet there's nothing like a Headcanons page, and while it is not necessary, it's a very common thing on Tumblr roleplay accounts and I think an account like this needs a lot of fleshing out since it's a new, foreign idea.
It's also confusing. I am taking it that these Contractors seal contracts with people and then inhabit their body, but Rose's Contractant is different because it has partially possessed the girl. Why do they need to inhabit the bodies? Is it to make the human body stronger? If they have the power to literally possess these bodies, why even make a contract in the first place? Are these Contractants the "spirits" of nations that need a human body to communicate themselves? Were they ever humans themselves? And what do the human vessels do in between the time they are chosen and the time that they become nations? It can take years to get a new country set up, so do they just not age and wait until the country is finally formed?
There is a lot you can do with this character, and I hope to see more from you! Also, the writing is a bit hard to read, so another thing to consider is to make the font bigger so people find it easier to read your bio and can better understand your character! -Spade
I would send in my account to get a review, but alas... I don't have a bio up yet, seeing as though my account got disabled, and I had to start over. But, once I do, I'll send it in. c:
Alrighty that's completely understandable. Thanks anyways. c:

Psst Hey Followers.
