THIS IS IMPORTANT
Kind of dry, but here is a brief foam carving tutorial that I just made.
Truth!
So I read this story and just HAD to draw it. I can’t even remember the last time I did a comic… It was so fun! I’ll have to do more. :)

Here's a before and after sketch of my Anima: Beyond Fantasy character's transforming states.
I'm playing a game called Anima: Beyond Fantasy with friends. It's my first pen & paper role playing game using miniatures so I didn't think much about limiting factors when I decided what race and class I wanted to play. I pretty much shot myself in the foot from the start by choosing to play an unarmed fighter. Go out and try to find unarmed fantasy miniatures, I dare you! There are some out there, but precious few to choose from. I did find one I liked, but I made things more complicated by the fact that my character's race has a sort of werewolf type thing going on. You could pick any animal for your transformation, and I went with a proto-bird dinosaur kind of animal. And then I decided I wanted a mini to represent THAT guy. Virtually impossible. So I set about making my own. I modified a MageKnight figure that bared a close resemblance to the Crimson Fist figure I used for my "human" form. Haven't yet gotten around to painting it, but I wanted to share the process of converting the base figure.
