I really, really like the Kings of yore despite that we get almost nothing about them so of course I had to design them when they were alive, give them names, their numbers and backstories.

From oldest to youngest so far:

The 38th. First queen. She always wandered around in disguise during her rule and as a result, she has the greatest insight into her peoples' lives, since they didn't realize who she was.

But even in the Citadel, she was quite elusive due to how good she was at sneaking around. Sometimes she let servants catch a glimpse of her, causing a rumour about a ghost haunting the Citadel.

The 58th. Ardyn lite, except without the inky black stuff and immortality and bratty brother. His wife, Desdemona, was killed and he made it the rest of the world's problem.

(he and his entourage are named after characters from Shakespearean tragedies)

The 61st. He's only called the Fierce in Lucis, outside Lucis he's known as the Ogre due to his brutality and ruthlessness. He also was one of the sweetest Lucian kings in history, to his people at least!

(his Japanese title is really 鬼王, the Ogre king!)
