I don't mean any disrespect by this question but what is your opinion on the shooting in france, being a muslim and everything.
Even though my blog is strictly a poetry blog, I think I’ll reply to this in the light of certain events. But please, refrain from asking me any personal questions like these here. I have a personal blog you can follow and ask me there if you’d like.
Now, as for the answer. There is a verse from the Quran that says "Peace. A word from a merciful Lord." (36:58) It does not say “kill” it does not say “violence” it says peace. The word the Lord chose to give His believers is peace and that alone makes the entire situation irritating and angering.

Let me hold your face in my hands.
Let your scent seep into my clothes so that I remember you on the train home.
Let us love like we’ll never have another chance.

He walks, eyes at the ground, head sunken down hiding behind his shoulders.
Worldy burdens piling upon his back accumulating as he moves forward.
Not a word uttered but many words thought. Others cannot see what this man is a bearer of.
This man looks like a beggar walking slumped and hunched over.
But do not be quick to judge.
This man is a holy man looking for his unworldly future.
