I always found soft cloths to be the most versatile in such situations. You can wrap things like fruit in them as a treat or soak the cloth in milk. Just be sure anything you let the little one chew can't be broken off!"

Jun'mei defnitely has her Papa's fangs, so I feel bad for Xiulan and her nursemaids. Frankly I feel bad for you and my nursemaids too if I was this mouthy when I was teething."

Acelin was currently taking time to practice with Eginhard. It had been awhile since the blackblade magus had picked up the longsword for anything, and the intelligent blade was yelling at him.

You are wielding me wrong!! How come you’ve gotten so blasted lousy!?

“Listen, I haven’t had to use you for almost five years. Being a bit rusty is to be expected.” To anyone looking on, it looked like the Marquis was talking to himself, until the blade started attacking him in frustration.
