"You were too?" she asked, his last comment piquing her interest. She hadn’t noticed he’d been missing far as often as she was, but perhaps that was because she was away. "Who, if you don’t mind me asking?" Violet eyes locked on the other as she awaited a reply, hopefully obtaining an answer to her question with it. She didn’t expect him to tell her everything, though she hoped he trusted her enough to do so. "I— No, you don’t know him," she spat out, quickly realizing she’d already given too much information. “Crap.”

"I, well.. Yes, I was," he replied, not noticing the fact that he completely gave himself away. The next question from Seven left a nervous smile on Ace's lips. "Well.." he said with genuine thought, but noticed that the female had continued on with her side and then gave herself away. The blond cast his view down to the floor. "... Seems like the cat is out of the bag," Ace sighed, on behalf of the two of them. "I went to visit a girl named Kairi," the student answered slowly.

"Who's this 'him' you went to visit..?"

Somewhat agitated by the sudden barrage of questions, Seven had to take a moment, pinching the top of her nose as she searched her mind for answers. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to tell Ace, it just felt so strange opening up about something that had been so secret for so long. “I was visiting someone, I guess you could say,” she choked out, folding her arms tightly against her chest once more. “I’m sorry you weren’t able to get in contact with me, there was a bad storm.” 

A gentle smile was on his lips when she began to explain her disappearance-- depsite that he could feel that she didn't exactly want to. Though getting the general idea seemed to satisfy his curiosity for now. Or so he thought. "Is it someone we all know?" he blurted out, tilting his head. He didn't exactly expected a true answer from Seven right now, but it was worth a shot. A yes or no would do. If this is what Ace thought it was about, he might just share his own information in return. "What a coincidence, I was out visiting someone as well.."

Both of them were very obviously being stubborn, and it wasn’t going anywhere. “I guess you haven’t noticed Sice is well on the way to driving me insane,” Rolling her eyes slightly, Seven couldn’t help but to dread the situation even more.

"Quite the opposite, really.." Ace breathed out a weak laugh and shook his head for a moment. "I'm glad you've decided to bring that subject into light. After all, we were worried once we couldn't track your whereabouts." Eyes opened to look at the female in front of him. "Now if I may ask, where exactly were you?"

Pursing her lips for only a moment, Seven wracked her brain for what to say. No way she would confess that easily. “I could say the same about you, Ace. You’ve been away more, lately. Is everything alright?” 

"Say the same for me all you want, but I asked first.." Ace closed his eyes, disregarding her question. It was unlike the male to do such thing, but the situation called for it. "Since you've been here more than I have, what's the news?"
