"To fight for myself, by myself. My honour is my own, and I don't owe it to codex or covenant."

"Rubick, my ally. Good to see you after such a long time. How have you been fairing?"
”Why hello, Sven! Ah, things have more or less been fine for me, the usual duel here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary.” He walked up to the bulky knight and gave him a friendly, light bump in the chest. ”And how have you been doing?”
"How could Gondar turn on his own ally like that…" Sven muttered out. He knew he was a hired blade to begin with. But that he would delve to such lows to get coin? Despicable.
”I would expect something like that from a person like him. If you have the coin he’ll do anything.”
"Still. I thought that he might at least have some honour and respect for the Radiant." Sven shook his head slightly.
”He only respects the Radiant’s resources, same for the Dire. I have not much respect for him myself, but if you need a job done he can be helpful.” The Magus laid his opinions about the Bounty Hunter
"I see." Sven rubbed the back of his helmet. "I guess he can be helpful, for the right amount of gold."
”Him asking a reasonable price is a rarity, heheh”
"I meant right for him." Sven chuckled, as he punched the others shoulder lightly.
"Rubick, my ally. Good to see you after such a long time. How have you been fairing?"

”Hmm, you can advise a topic, Sven.”
"How have the rest of the Radiant heroes been fairing?" Sven asked.
”As far as I know, everything has been going on well, there has been an accident with Nortrom, however..”
"An accident? Tell me everything. I need to bring myself up to date." Sven inquired furhter.
”I don’t really enjoy talking like this about such subjects, but from what I heard Gondar was hired to take his eyes out… and he accomplished that through brute force, the Silencer was left sightless until a forced respawn was made.”

"Take this then" Pudge said, handing Sven a small piece of paper, which Sven could see said, in odd handwriting ‘Anyone who even TOUCHES the bearer of this paper’ll be thrown t’ me dog, clear? Pudge’.
"Well, isn't this handy." Sven chuckled, as he clenched the paper tight. "Many thanks Pudge. I guess I will see you around."

"'E resides in the Capitol of the Wraith King, formerly the Bone City." He said. "If y'want, I can make sure you get in and out without issue." He offered
"Much appreciated, Pudge." Sven said, smirking under his helmet. He needed to see this with his own eyes.
"Rubick, my ally. Good to see you after such a long time. How have you been fairing?"

Sven just laughed a bit as the other bumped his chest. “I have been great! Nothing like a good, long, few months of training to get a man ready for battle!” he exclaimed.
”And what are you readying yourself for, Sven?”
"Any battle. Besides, a warrior must be at the peak of his strength at all times, must he not?" Sven asked, chuckling. "Besides I heard from Pudge that there is a big war coming up soon…"
”Trouble has been stirring lately, yes.. I’ve heard news of some large abomination created by the Butcher and one of the Silencers, but that might just be, well, lies.” Rubick’s voice changed into a more serious tone.
"Still, better to be prepared, than to lose and perhaps even perish." Sven said in a stern tone.
”True that, actually.” Stroking his chin and thinking about this subject ‘Now is not the time to talk about this!’ Rubick shook his head and looked back at the knight ”Let’s talk about something else, and not war, shall we?”
"Very well. What else do you want to speak about, Magus?" Sven asked, slightly puzzled by the sudden change of topics.

"He's in charge, aye" said the Butcher, responding to the Knights question. "The Inquisitor is functionally in control, but the Wraith King is still around, and able to unite the Heroes of the Dire, under the right circumstances. The Inquisitor is the one responsible for the Dire invading the city of Franktou, but under orders from the Wraith King." He said
He couldn't believe it. The same Nortrom with whom he was allies, now the commiter of such atrocities and acts of violence on the behalf of Ostarion. It couldn't be true. But what use would Pudge have of lying to him. "I see... Do you perhaps know where I can find this, Inquisitor as he calls himself nowadays."
"Rubick, my ally. Good to see you after such a long time. How have you been fairing?"

Sven just laughed a bit as the other bumped his chest. "I have been great! Nothing like a good, long, few months of training to get a man ready for battle!" he exclaimed.
"They took that city t' prove a point! T' PROVE they could do it!" Called the Butcher to the retreating Knight. "Their new ruler, once the Skeleton king, now the Wraith King, wants to expand his empire a little more. If you knew the Silencer who wore red, then yes, he joined the Dire, because he became psychotic after learning that there was a double of him. If you knew the Silencer who wore Purple, then he didn't join us at all, and still fights us tooth and nail." He shrugged, looking at the back of the Knight, unsure if Sven had heard all of what he'd just said, and then, quietly chuckling to himself, walked off to tell those as needed to know, that the Rogue Knight had returned, and seemed eager for war.
Sven stopped for a second, after hearing him speak of the Wraith King. He had heard that the once skeletal Ostarion had now been changed. But that he was now their leader? The unruly, shakily bound Dire heroes under the control of one person? That seemed weird to him.
"Wait, butcher." Sven said, as he ran back to the other man, hoping to get more information out of him because he seemed eager to share.
