This is a friendly reminder that this blog exists and is unfortunately in indefinite Hiatus until my muse for Athena is back. I could probably force myself to return but I want to do Athena justice. And I just can't do her justice right now. When I do return I'm enacting that full blog reset.

I've been thinking about ways to bring myself back to this blog and have decided on a few things: There will be a reset to most things on this blog. I'll keep the posts because a lot of the oldest stuff are from the golden days of tumblr and there are rps that I don't ever want to be deleted. However, all relationships between canon characters and such are going to be returned to their canon state.

In addition to that, I will be doing something my older self despised: which is to add multiple verses. There will be timeline verses and the main one will be post Spirit of Justice. Did you know I still haven't beaten that yet? What a fake ace attorney fan! Anyways, that's just one of my ideas.

For some context: When I first started this blog, Dual Destinies had just come out. So late 2013. I was firmly in my one verse blog mentality because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of Alternate universes and such. As much as I don't blame my past self for it but at the same time, it was a rather limiting view that only really worked for my Twilight Sparkle blog. But that's the context.

Secondly, all headcanons will be the same. So she's still asexual and panromantic. Nothing in that regard will be changing because I like the headcanons that I made for her. But for any specific verses there will be headcanons for that. Thirdly, I'll be finally overhauling my tag system. I'll have proper tags for everything and not just musing, IC, RP. That was just a different time when tags were way different.

I'll of course be making a new pinned post for people to reblog and such to spread the word. I might be making a new theme? I don't know yet. New themes take hours to get working and I don't know if I have the motivation for that. But yeah, this will be the biggest update to this blog in forever. I'm hoping sometime this month this will happen and I will officially be on this blog again!

Breaking my indefinite hiatus just to say I know about Investigations collection and I've been crying and screaming for a while.

It's been...quite some time since I've been on this blog, and I apologize. Quite frankly I just haven't had the muse for Athena in a while and I don't know when that will change. But with that said, when I do get my muse back for her I'm wiping the slate clean and starting a new mostly. I think that should help get my muse back for her and be more consistent. That does mean I'll have to jumpstart some relationships and stuff again, but I think it'll be worth it. Unless I decide not to, which is completely possible

"Mmm..." Juniper hummed softly into her girlfriend's kiss. "T-Thena, stop it, you're making me blush." Despite her mostly feigned protests, Juniper leaned forward and shared another kiss with the redhead, one hand moving up to daintily caress her cheek as she did so. "...o-okay, maybe I just wanted you to stop so I could start one myself."

"Is that so Junie?" Athena replied with an ecstatic tone to her voice. God she loved this woman so much and wanted nothing more than being with her. The kisses and such were only adding to that love and sense of belonging that she had. "Well, I have some bad news, because I'm not going to let you." She then planted her lips on Junipers again and started up another kiss, not allowing her to initiate the kiss once again.

"Anyways, as is a common occurence these days, I've been busy. There was a particularly upsetting case that I went through that ended up with me needing some time to myself. Anger, wrath, rage, they are such powerful emotions..."

"Who's ready to kick some butt?! I am! I feel like I can do anything right now."

"I'm feeling deja-vu all over again!"

"Have I said that already? I wasn't aware."

"They're re-releasing my debut game! Now everyone will bow down to Widget knowing what I can do!"

"I'm fired up! I feel like running a whole marathon right now! Japan does marathons, right?"

“Well, no matter why you told me, I appreciate you being open with me, Cykes-san.” She did seem like a nice woman at least. Ren wished they could have met under better circumstances. 

Well, she was certainly quick on the draw, only taking a moment to rebound from the shock of discovering the existence of parallel realities and bring it all back around to the law. And she was right that there was pretty much no way any of his activities in the metaverse could be used against him in court. Though that unfortunately worked both ways. It couldn’t be used in his defense either.

“There might be a few complications with that, though. Unfortunately, I was already arrested once before, and they got me to sign a confession while I was. I’m not sure how legally binding it is, considering they drugged me before hand. But still…” Though that was probably the lesser problem. “…I also escaped from police custody. I’m pretty sure that’s a crime itself.”

Man, there was just something about everything that he was put through that was having her feel a mixture of sadness and anger and a few other emotions. This young man was absolutely put through the ringer, and the fact that they forced him to sign a confession basically under duress, and apparently drugged as well? That was something that needed to be addressed immediately. But there was also the fact that he apparently escaped from police custody.

But, he had also faked his death to do so, which was quite a feat. Now it was time to tell him her opinion about things. “So, I can tell you a few things. That confession, at least in the united states, can’t be used in court. I’m not fully sure about Japan but I feel like it might be similar. You were not in the right state of mind in order to sign any sort of confession. Most likely I can have that thrown out before it can ever be used.”

The escaping police custody thing was another thing though. “So, I’ll have a tougher time with the other thing however. But, depending on the circumstances of your arrest in the first place, it could be seen as a false arrest and therefore you didn’t escape as much as got out. But there’s also that matter of you faking your own death. The truth is, this will all be pretty complicated should it go to court. I’m hoping it never gets to that point but we’ll have to see at this point.”

Gogo took a moment to look at the practically sunshine-bright woman, who didn’t even look any older than she herself was. She figured she wasn’t the only girl who started a law career at a tender age. And really, how did her case even get to American ears to begin with? Was the trail really world-wide news? Did she have connections that took her all over the planet? Gogo was at once impressed… and highly suspicious. What did this woman have to gain, taking on a sure loss like this, in another continent?

“You’re a long way from home. Is my case that interesting to you?”

She sighed, weary and heavy. It wasn’t like she had much choice, not at this point. Someone came to her, and the former detective/metaverse assassin was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth…

“Tell me what you know about my case, first of all…”

“Well, I’ll let you know that I’m actually in Japan to learn international law. I did that a while back when I was in Europe, studying law. Now, for the sake of learning even more about laws and another language, I’m here in Japan.” She made sure Gogo knew some details about that whole thing, including the fact that her boss was helping her find out about some things, including any possible cases. Apparently he had stumbled across the whole phantom thief stuff and one thing lead to another.

So, when she was asked what she knew about the case, she took a moment to collect her thoughts. “Truth be told, I don’t actually know a lot.” Widget made a little comment that said “that’s always the case though.” And Athena just put her hand over the thing with an annoyed expression on her face. “Sorry about that, it blurts out things at times. “I know you are looking for representation of some kind though. And so far, everyone seems to have not wanted to take your case, is that right? Well, that’s what I’m here for.”

“A-Ah, I’m glad you think so. I-I wasn’t sure about the look myself.” A light pink blush filled her cheeks, knowing Athena genuinely really liked the look she’d taken on. It was a bit more comfortable than the dress she was usually seen wearing when she wasn’t in her academy clothes. “W-Well I don’t have anything keeping me busy today, Thena. I, um, don’t exactly have things ready for a picnic, but if you want to find a park to spend time in together, I wouldn’t argue against that.”

“Well, we can always just bring a few things with us for a picnic. It doesn’t exactly have to be all fancy and such you know.” Plus, for Athena anyways it was more about spending time with someone that she loved more than anything. And it had been a bit since the two really spent a lot of time together. “I don’t have any cases going on today and I think we can just go to people park. They did just renovate the place again and it’s looking really nice.”

“There’s a big water fountain there now!”
