Chester: “I don’t feel sick, like I feel great.”
Mike: “Well, you look great.”
Chester: “I feel great, I feel amazing.”
Mike: “Yeah, you do look amazing.”
reminder
anyone can be affected by depression anyone can lose to depression
take Chester Bennington for example he committed suicide last year despite having thousands of fans that loved him despite having a loving family and despite having everything in the world or seeming to have everything he ended up committing suicide because he thought no one would care he was an inspiration to many and his legacy will live on but this is a man who was famous for his music and inspired so many other bands many people grew up with him and many people fans didn’t commit suicide and/or gave up their bad habits for Linkin Park and Chester because the music they made was life-saving despite all that Chester ended up losing to his demons this goes to show you despite having everything someone can still be depressed and struggling so please don’t disregard someones mental health because you think they have it all don’t disregard their feelings and please don’t tell them they have no right to feel the way they do anyone can lose to depression mental health is a big problem

Happy birthday Mike Shinoda - 11/02/18
I just wanted to say a few things about this -still- young, wise, talented and beautiful man. If you don’t know him, he is an American musician, songwriter, rapper, singer, record producer and graphic designer. He co-founded Linkin Park in 1996 as the band’s rhythm guitarist, primary songwriter, keyboardist, producer, and lead vocalist and in 2004 he created a hip-hop side project, Fort Minor. He is also the co-founder of Machine Shop Records and outside of music, Shinoda is an artist and graphic designer. Along with most of the album covers, he painted several pieces of artwork, some of which have been featured in the Japanese American National Museum. He married Anna Hillinger in 2003 and they have two children together.
To be honest, if I had to describe him in a word, it would be genius. To me, he’s such an aspiring idol and I look up to him in every way possible; the sincerity and emotion he puts in his work is something every contemporary artist should try and express because the suffering, the struggle and the pain - those are the things today’s audience needs to hear. I, myself, struggle with mental issues and I proudly admit, it’s thanks to artists like him I’m still sane. And I know I’m not the only one who lives with such thoughts.
So Mike, I wish you the very best. I’m very proud of the way you’re handling life. You’re getting there, remember: there’s light at the end of every tunnel. No darkness lasts forever. You’ve got this.
This man deserves the world, so let’s give it to him. Happy birthday, Mike.
Happy Birthday, Mike Shinoda! (February 11, 1977)
Reasons to love Mike Shinoda
He’s the founder and heart of one of the best bands in the world: Linkin Park.
He and the other LP members have a very tight bond. They are like brothers.
Mike and Chester were the most iconic duo ever. Their friendship was one of a kind.
He writes deep, meaningful songs.
He’s also an awesome visual artist.
He can rap & sing and play pretty much very instrument.
He has a calm, soothing voice.
He has a beautiful smile.
He’s really good-looking.
Mike and his wife Anna are soulmates. They have been a couple since they were teenagers.
He’s a great dad – not only for his three kids, but kinda for the whole LP family as well.
He’s humble and down-to-earth, despite being a rockstar & millionaire.
He’s kind & caring, but also cool & sassy.
He’s very approachable and stays in contact with his fans through social media.
His sense of humor (aka Trollnoda) is hilarious.
He’s the king of memes.
„You guys.“

“I’m going to be gone one day, and I have to accept that tomorrow isn’t promised. Am I OK with how I’m living today?” - Hayley Williams for The FADER
From Hybrid Theory, to One More Light. From 2000, to 2017. From the first album, to the seventh.
Here's to many more Linkin Park albums and years to come. Are you ready?
Greetings. [x]
A New Era
Heavy
For everyone who listened to the song. There are so many hatred around Linkin Park now, because of this soft song. I don’t see the point. ”Linkin Park loses many fans because of this song…” Well, these people can’t be even called fans. Real fans are the people who will always love them and be there for the band whatever happens. They are real artists. Linkin Park is special in this thing, that they are changing, renewing all the time. Their real personality never changes. This is Linkin Park. They wouldn’t be that band today if they have walked another path. They can do and try new things, make exciting journeys to the unknown, they can get new musical experience. For the real fans: don’t care about the haters. You love Linkin Park for a good reason. For the haters and fake fans: if you hate the new sound, go listen to Hybrid Theory and Meteora or don’t even listen to them. Linkin Park got used to hatred and hate comments over the years. They could stay artists even this way and they didn’t become douchebags. They still create art and incredibly good music. They are so kind. And talented. They can make like 13 million types or genres of music. From pop to heavy metal. I think they could even make jazz. If this is not talent, than what is then? Thank you Linkin Park for saving us again.
