Tales from '85 should not receive streams after that dec. 31 ST5 Finale, I'll explain why:

I rarely give my opinion on anything, I'm a graphic designer who illustrates for passion and I feel bad by saying this but that show is not only destined to flop but we as a community shouldn't give them more space to queerbait and make another retcon of the characters we love.

First, the story itself doesn't make much sense with canon, the way to save it it's to make it a parallel universe like other cartoons and sell it like it (they're not doing so). The most plausible thing to happen is that GA won't pay much attention to it and the Duffers/executives might know so they'll try to reach to us, as fans the crumbs of the old stranger things with a cute artstyle might attract us but it's not precisely a good thing. The reality in my perspective is that they mocked their queer audience till last minute, destroyed a story with a clear enough structure just because they didn't know how to professionally manage it and put their egos aside, also they were too scared of the "backlash" of byler canon from their homophobic audience.

I think personally, if you want to have a good time and watch it because you can't just let it go or feel curiosity just pirate it, you're not a bad person for that. We can't conform with mediocre works, crumbs of representation and flat storylines, byler or not they ruined a lot of aspects of the story. I hope you understand the point!
