Some time ago I wanted to upload this analysis I did, it is an analysis of an official illustration where the Shingeki girls appear dressed as brides, Mikasa's bouquet of flowers caught my attention and the flowers she has gives you a lot to think about, as someone who has studied a lot the language of flowers like me I could not ignore this. (I thank you very much granny, without you I could not have deduced this, she had a flower shop and I helped her a lot with customers, she took so much of her time to explain me every detail and symbolism that hide the flowers and why a customer chooses one in particular, rest in peace).
In some countries, a bride's bouquet of flowers has two very important meanings, depending on the type of flowers the bride carries can give clues to the guests of how the future relationship of their marriage will be like or how is the personality of the person the bride is going to marry and the latter is very important in Mikasa's bouquet, as all the flowers she has speaks more about the personality of her "fiancé".
As far as I know there were only two people in the whole series who showed innate patience towards dear Mikasa. Levi and Armin but the latter is ruled out in that the bouquet of flowers refers to him, since having feelings for someone else and being Mikasa's best friend doesn't make much sense for him to be her "fiancé" and it should also be mentioned that poor Armin broke with this characteristic of having patience for Mikasa when she asked him what they would do with Eren after he activated the rumble, Armin fed up and stressed by the situation yells at Mikasa for the first time, so he breaks the possibility of being the "fiancé" by not perfectly fulfilling the meaning of the word "patient".
The only one who so far always maintains incredible patience towards Mikasa (even in the last chapters where the girl exasperated even her teammates for refusing the idea of killing Eren) is Levi.
Levi has shown a patience worthy of the gods with Mikasa, she at the beginning had shown a hostile and rebellious personality towards him, she even attacked him for the serum, but Levi always remained patient towards her, he never attacked her and never reproached her grumpy personality towards him in the serie, besides it must be admitted, Levi has never shown patience with other characters (example: Historia, Hange, Zeke, etc.) but however with Mikasa he has shown a patient and calm personality, he has never burst out in anger towards her, (as it happened to poor Armin) so it is evident that the pink begonia refers to Levi and his legendary patience towards her.
It refers to the fact that Mikasa's "fiancé" is someone honest, straightforward with his words, however honesty does not mean that it is a valuable quality if you are not tactful when telling the truth, only one character has shown to have this quality. He is too honest and that causes problems him with others by not being tactful in saying things more gently, isn't it true, Levi?...
Pink lilies refer to a person "naive in love" and with an airs of "youth". It has already been confirmed as an extra fact that Levi is clumsy in love. And don't clumsiness and naivety represent the same thing? Since clumsiness comes from the naivety of never having experienced romance, therefore, according to this, Mikasa's "fiancé" would be more like a high school student when it comes to the field of romance, someone who has no mastery in the amatory arts but his intentions are pure and good. And lastly: "Someone with an airs of «youth»" Hhmmmmmm... Who does that sound like to me about appearing to be younger than he really is?...
And finally, the most important and that in my opinion makes much more reference to Levi than the other flowers is the flower called "The Star of Bethlehem" this flower emphasizes a neat, pure, elegant person but the most impressive is the cruel but beautiful message it has, this flower literally means: "He who comforts my soul" and refers to a person who is by your side after having a great loss in your life. This flower refers that this person is the support, the emotional strength, the one who helped the bride (Mikasa) to get ahead after everything in her life collapsed, this flower has a very powerful message because technically it implies that the person saved Mikasa from the darkness and helped her (or will help her, because this seems like a spoiler, who knows, lol...) to get back on her feet after a very strong emotional tragedy.
It also represents your other half, unity, someone who is your equal and together they form the perfect balance and symmetry because its tips are perfectly united in the same length and size and it has 6 petals which is the number that symbolizes unity. It also represents King David because this flower has the same shape as his star. According to Isayama, he once said that the Levi vs. Zeke fight alludes the myth of David vs. the giant Goliath, since Levi as well as David despite representing a small figure also represent power.
As another extra information this flower is used as medicine to calm the shock, nervous collapse that a person has before a situation of pain, loss, that is why it is known as "the one that consoles the soul" to the person who represents this flower, because it relieves the pain of the affected person, it calms him/her.
Honestly, it was crazy to discover these meanings, everything points perfectly towards a single character and that is the incredible thing, the meaning of the flowers are very direct.
Thank you very much for reading, I hope you liked my post, see you soon in another post I will do.
