Hello everyone!

I am finally working on my island again! I never meant to take such a long haitus but I was just feeling so demotivated, and my hyperfixations were taking my attention elsewhere rip.

So my plans for the foreseeable are:

1) I'm actually going to flatten my island. Currently it's okay, but I think I need to rework it to make it more satisfying. Not to mention, there's an area in front of the resident's services where a bunch of paths converge, and with the way everything is laid out, the paths end up looking like a swastika no matter how I try to change it 😭 so that definitely needs a re-jigging.

2) I've decided that I'm going to get some new villagers. I want some more colourful guys, and I also have a list of villagers that give me enby energy (either bc I originally thought they were the opposite sex or bc I just couldn't tell just by looking at them lol). Katt and Robin will stay, but I have a list of others that I want instead. I've managed to keep it being all different species, with all 8 personalities, and an equal split of male and female, which isn't necessary, but I like it like that 😅

3) I'm going to take some pics of my current progress before flattening, since I have done some stuff without posting it on here, and I will also post the custom code's I've used when I do that

4) Finally, I just realised I never shared my animal crossing inspo pinterest boards, so I'm probably going to create a new post to pin, and I'll share it there.

Some of my personal highlights:

A hotel! It seems very similar to happy home paradise which I bought when it came out, but for those who don't have it, this will be amazing!

The ability to store plants in your storage! (Plus 4,000 extra storage slots!!)

Resetti!!! Looks like he's here to help you clean up large areas!

4 new villagers!!!!! Based off of tloz and splatoon! Also furniture and clothes in those collabs. I've never played splatoon but hey, free stuff is free stuff, and I'm always excited for new villagers!

Most importantly to me, BULK CRAFTING!!!!!!! The gods have answered my prayers at long last!!!! 😭😭😭

Finally, I'm not sure how well this screenshot showcases this, but it looks like your character will sidestep when terraforming now, which will hopefully make the process much less tedious 🤞

There's other cool stuff I haven't mentioned like Luna's new dreamspace and the retro games consoles you can buy, plus the ability to have up to 12 people on your island at once (but who has that many friends anyway lmao, plus I feel like my switch would implode if I had that many people on my island 😭).

Either way I'm so excited!!!! Looking forward to January!!

It's taken longer than I thought it would, but I finally have all of my dreamies and I've terraformed to more or less where I want everything to be!

I still havent decided what custom pattern I want as my main path... i like the idea of the paths being visible on the map, so I'm trying to find one that looks good on top of the in-game dirt path. The problem is I don't know if I want a dirt path, a brick path or a stone path 😭

So um the reason i haven't posted for a couple of weeks is bc I'm LAZY lmao i was procrastinating looking for custom codes bc i couldnt be bothered to go through pinterest even tho ive had a whole board for custom designs i like for years 🥲 anyway ive decorated the immediate entrance and this is how it looks so far

now that im on the path to actualizing my dream island, I've decided to make a rough draft of what the terraforming may look like. this is early days, so of course it's always subject to change, but this is what i have rn! i don't want it to be super complicated, so i think this is nice and simple while still being interesting enough to look at ☺️

I have some exciting news everybody!!!!

Not only was i pretty lucky that i found 3 of my dreamies in under 30 total nmt

I also managed to get 4 STARS on my first evaluation!!!!!!!

The way my jaw dropped lmao I was hoping for 3 stars but getting 4??? Insane.

Now I'm going to get started on terraforming and making the island of my dreams 💫
